what does three benches at once mean lol

vancouserasian, a rep calculator puts you at a 1 rep max of 285, but you can’t always count on those as other variables besides x amount of reps at a lower weight factor in to a one rep max.

Ya, I hate using the one rep max calculators because they are always so much lower then what my one rep max is. The best advice to find your one rep max is to just test it.
the other day i benched over 5 pounds; an ounce up from the day before…

[/quote]doesn’t bench press mean pressing benches? It took me 10 months to get up to 3 benches, can’t wait till I can do 4. then I might start competing. lol
Yesterday I pushed 185 pounds for 60 reps in seven minutes.
That was fun.
I think he means actual benches lol.
It was a clusterfucked continuance of making fun of this thread from what I can see.

You might want to get your internet sarcasm detector checked, it seems to be malfunctioning.

270 and climbing monthly at 145 bodyweight. and serious question. anyone know if benching all around like incline, decline, flat, flyes has any advantage over simply going heavy and many sets of low reps with flat bench?
Yes, hitting the chest from all angles will help both muscular and strength development.

thank you much. now I just have to rag at my school athletic department to get more than 50 lb db and a bench with incline and decline settings

I can bench 5,973,600,000,000,000,000,000,000 kg.
I just lie on the ground face first and push the whole planet away from me. Easy!
I can do that at least a couple of times…

My best so far has been 485 at a bodyweight of 225. That was over a year ago and I haven’t maxed out since, but as of last week, I can get 405 for 6 reps, and 255 for 25 reps.
Damn Strong! Props man.

Thanks, the 485 was done with a strict powerlifting form. (Elbows in, back arched, etc.). The workouts I’ve been doing lately have been more for size, so the 405 was done with a wider grip and elbows out a little more which is a little harder, so I feel like I am probably at least where I was or a little stronger than I was when I did 485. I’d love to break 500 but I’m getting old (38) and I’ve got a couple of artheric bone spurs on my shoulder that tend to dig into my RC and gets them inflamed when doing the powerlifting form. After I did the 485, I couldn’t even do 135 for about a month.

That’s immense strength brother even with the more bodybuilding 405 style. If you don’t mind me asking what did you start at whenever you started lifitng? Were you’re always pretty strong benching or did you build it up over the years?

so, is that the actual mass of earth, or did you pull it outta your ass? just out of curiosity.
on a side note, you’re such an internet badass, you’re not really that strong. Your toes act as a fulcrum so you’re only really pushing like 1,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 kg. pssht, wuss.
Real men stand on their hands and overhead press the earth.

I started lifting in high school over 20 years ago. I think I was in the 11th grade when I took a weight lifting class. By the time I graduated I could bench 315 and I probably weight about 175. I lifted on and off over the years but really got serious the last 7 or 8 years. It took me probably 3 years to go from high 300’s to the high 400’s, but keep in mind there has only been one period where I trained for about 3 months soley for bench press. I decided to compete in a local bench competition lat year, and that is when I really concentrated on form and a focused bench routine. If I was really into powerlifting I have no doubt that it would have increased faster.
