Nice job.
Keep up the good work. I yet still have to break 220 lbs.
The most that I have actually seen someone bench was 300 pounds. I was a senior in high school and someone had a college football friend visiting for the day. This guy weighed probably about 230 pounds and it was solid muscle.
Our bench press maxed out at 300 pounds and he could actually do a fairly high number of reps at this weight. He was able to just kind of play around with this much weight. I could barely believe what I was seeing.
I can barely imagine getting to where I can bench 150 pounds, so I find it real impressive any time someone gets to 250 pounds and above. Keep up the good work.

is that picture under your name you?
Great job OP!
no video?! jk nice job its a solid accomplishment. I consider 405 to be the BIG number in bench press though, good luck in your future progress.
ou pussy! My dick can do 50 reps with 315… I am just kidding, that’s awesome! Good work, I’ll be joining you soon!
Good job, I see you mentioned frat guys and you are from florida…any chance you go to FSU?
405 is definitely a big number, But 3 plates feel great. I did it once a year ago but have since lost 70+ pounds and counting so keeping bench up has been a bear. However, I think i should get it again in about 6-8 weeks of training (I’m about to v-diet and I doubt that’ll put much strength on)
hahaha, nah man, i’m from boca raton, but i’m in the army, so i’m all over
Yea, 315 is a really nice milestone. congrats. You see some fat boys messing around with 2 plates, but 3+ plates on a clean frame is years of hard work.
Good stuff man…I only just got to 225 but if everything goes according to my schedule I’ll be at 315 soon enough, and it’ll be worth it when I’m hitting that milestone at a lower weight(hopefully 190lbs).
good work.
just please make sure you are actually doing a full bench press instead of bouncing off your chest or half reps. i’ve been training for years and have seen this way too much, makes me sick.

makes me sick too, 315 was a great accomplishment for me, I know how you feel good job.
Good job, each plate added is a milestone.

I consider 225 to be the 1st bench milestone kind of like 315 for squat. Adding new plates is always a great feeling.
Well done, hoping to hit that myself next year.
Awesome! Three wheels is a major milestone! I have yet to attempt it. I can get 6 reps with 275 so I think I could probably get one rep with 315.

Heh, in that case I’m proud lol. I also forgot that I reached that 2 weeks ago while in the middle of the V-diet so I might try 245 after 1 month(my strength can only improve once I start eating more in terms of quality and volume), and, yes the feeling of adding new plates especially 45’s is frikken awesome!

You might even be able to get for 2 if can rep 275 for 6.
