How much weight can I get out of signature gold knee wraps 3m for my one rep max
How much carryover you will get varies from person to person. There are too many factors to give an exact number (stance width, how tight you wrap, if someone else is wrapping for you, form, etc.) I don’t exactly know those specific wraps, but i have used a lot of the EliteFTS wraps and can tell you what i got out of mine. With the Normal wraps (kinda weak, more reboudd than cast) i got about 10-15 pounds.
Then i tried the Metal Black knee wraps (stronger than the normal wraps and stretchy for rebound) and got about 20ish pounds out of them. After that was the EliteFTS super heavy knee wraps (super thick and crazy cast like!) and those give me a good 30 pounds or so. again, how much you will get out of your wraps depends on many factors. You won’t know until you try them out!!
If using some heavy duty wraps with some one else wrapping I can get almost 50lbs out of them.
As for how much- it’s largely dependent on the person, the wrap and who wrapped it!
I have one guy that can crank down so tight I can literally stop at parallel and sit there! It also depends on your style, close stance versus wide will matter. Wrap up tight, go heavy and see what happens!
I guess I should have added that I have to wrap mine by myself.
I have the Inzer All Blacks. They have been used roughly 10 times and I wrap my own knees. My best squat without wraps is 460, my best squat in a comp with those wraps is 520. Factor in a bit of adrenaline for the competition, but id like to think I get between 30-40lbs out of them, if not 50lbs. I know they arent the wraps you were asking about, but I thought another example would help.
Thank you for the answers I squat Wide but not a chuck vogelgohl Wide, how does Wide stance effect knee wraps
How much weight you get depends on how well you wrap, and how well you have learned to squat in your wraps.
Many top level lifters talk about getting 100+ lbs out of their wraps. I know for myself I get around 70 lbs. We have a lifter at our gym the squats around 585 raw raw yet has hit 700 in wraps.
So basically depends on how you wrap it. To really get those extra lbs in you end up wrapping that shit so tight that all you can think of is finishing the lift so you can take them off.
