Knee Wrap Talk

Alright guys lets talk knee wraps. Money isn’t really an issue and I am looking for the best knee wrap out there. I’m looking for a 2.5 meter or longer wrap. I have been really thinking about 2. The slingshot knee wraps not the world record lilliebridge, just straight black. Or Inzer grippers. If someone can point me in the right direction. I’m probably going to order tonight or tomorrow. If you guys could could just give me a name and some pros and cons about em that would be great.

Also I don’t really know the difference between a rebound and a cast like wrap. This is why I was thinking the grippers since they are apparently very well rounded for everything. Thanks in advance guys.

Sling Shots all day long

i really like the wraps sold on elitefts. i don’t have experience with any other brand of wraps other than the elitefts/metal wraps so my opinion will be biased. I own the normal, heavy, super heavy, and krait elitefts wraps and the metal black knee wraps. if you are a wrap lifter your best bet is to go with the krait or metal black knee wraps. if you are a geared lifter you will probably prefer the heavy or super heavy knee wraps.

How much do you get out of them?

40-50lbs with a standard self wrap alot more when Sam wrenches them down

I think the SS wraps are only good if you have someone to wrap you (my opinion sorry if anyone disagrees)

They are a very stiff wrap that does not stretch a lot making it hard to adequately wrap yourself.

IMO the Titan Sig Golds are far superior. I think there is a reason a lot of big named lifters use them. And note that most of the lifters who jumped from the sig golds to the SS are in some way connected to Bell whether that is by sponsorship or friendship.

That being said the SS are great still, and use them here and there, but I have not really found something that works better than the sig golds for now.

As for how much yuou get out of the wrap. That depends on the lifter, look at Eric Lilliebridge, he talks about getting over 100 lbs out of them.

I’ve had Krait and they are a huge bitch to wrap yourself. Lilliebridge WR wraps are my current go-to and they are not bad to wrap yourself. I usually tie off on the 8th turn with them.

Looking at the Gripper wraps next. What about Titan RPM? Are the Signature Gold “better”? What makes the Sig Gold good?

I usally wrap myself and get them more tight then most people can get on me. Really leaning towards the SS wraps thanks a lot guys. My training partner get REALLY ballsy and decided to by anderson powerlifting’s KLA 4000’s which we have come to the conclusion you have to have a fucking strong guy to even wrap them. They are so stiff I can hardly break them over when wrapping his knees bot they would give fucking 100 pounds in a squat for sure.

Also C4G the reason I ruled out the Sig Golds is they seem to be for the elite and i only squat like 405 in shitty wraps. I don’t want to overload to much and fuck up my back. I am for sure going to get Sig Golds when I feel I am ready for it. Thanks a TON for the help thought guys.
