If deadlifting gets you that sore try squatting atg, followed by one legged squats, with weighted bridges (I think thats what they’re called), then do a cool 15 minutes of intervals on the stair master level 16.
That shit will rock your world!
Yeah, there’s something about glute DOMS. I can’t remember a day without having them…
I reckon anyone looking for a challenge should try snatch grip deadlifts. I don’t think anything else hits me harder…
For me it was 6x4 deads, 4x6 BB reverse lunges, and then 3x10 pull throughs…definitely did the trick, plus I’m just getting back on a consistent training schedule…finally!

Good stuff. Same here - I really only started deadlifting a few weeks ago, and due to longterm injury I can’t go too heavy but they do destroy a man.
With deadlifts, I don’t get DOMs so much as this feeling that I’ve lost all energy. The next 4-5 days feels like I forgot how to walk (and pull-throughs are a beast for the glutes too)
ATG, followed by SL, and overheads. I’m having a hard time being comfortable at the desk. Tomorrow will be worse.
The lunges paired with the squats always get me, especially when I do any glute/ham raise stuff. The worst though (as gay as this sounds) is the abducter and adducter machines that I end my leg sessions with.
