good job. 405 on the deadlift is special. it comes close after the elusive 3rd plate on the bench

Congrats OP. Not many people in MOST gyms around hit 4 plates.

I pulled 4 plates myself for the first time about 1 month ago. Yes lots of people seem to be at this weight after reading the thread. Keep pulling guys (and gals).

4 plates is a big milestone man…congrats!! Now get at 5!!!

Congrats on your milestone! Keep up the good work = )

nicely done on the 4 plates. I just hit mine 6 weeks ago. up to 4 plates and a quarter. 5 plates is right around the corner for us

Good job man! Keep it going.

Nice man, congrats on that.

Yeah I remember mine. I felt so nervous looking down at it lol! I felt unstoppable after and one of the few big guys at my gym rushed over to give me a high five which was rad. Hitting 4 plates for the 1st time is definitely a great feeling.

Nicely done!

I remember it clearly. I swear my balls got bigger that day.

GREAT JOB! I remember getting it for the first time a few months ago. I think hitting four plates in anything with good form is a big milestone because that’s when you’re actually sort of kind of strong, lol. Again, GREAT JOB! Remember this and keep at it!

Congratulations. It doesn’t matter what anyone else thinks. Your four plates is probably twice as heavy as the majority of people handing out advice here!
And yet you complain that we ask for pictures of people giving advice…

Congrats OP, 405 was pretty flipping exciting.
Countingbeans you would have to be the dumbest fuck on this site. You always take the bait hook, line and sinker! And before I finish, don’t throw out comments stating that 405 was exciting when you haven’t hit it!

Mr.Melin, with a well structured program your deadlift will continue to grow. One thing that people disregard is their grip strength. Improve this and further gains in strength will follow. Also as you continue to progress ensure you incorporate some foam rolling and recovery techniques. You’ll be grateful later, Keep up the good work.

What is your 5 rep max? Just curious because I just pulled 375x5 and am wondering where my 1 rm is… Nice work btw!

Hey dipshit, look in my hub (you know, the place where people who aren’t fucking cowards put pictures and videos of themselves)… Pretty sure there is a video of me pulling 405, and video’s of me pulling 455 and 505…

Lol, and I’m the dumb one? You are such a little bitch, I’m entertained by your stupidity…

How predictable. You get called out on being a fucking retart, and try and play it off like you said it on purpose… It isn’t working, you still look like a dipshit.

I hope your not about to talk shit about my progress there coward… Because until you post pics and vids of yours, you can STFU.

This bundy character got owned. What a tool.

I’m on 350 for two at the moment… Should hit 400 in a couple months, I’ll report back then.

All of you guys are lying. Nobody does deadlifts, anymore.

Seriously, though - good job Mr. Melin. And like it was mentioned, definitely work on that grip strength. That’s often forgotten these days.

I remember feeling like a hopeless case, because I was training with a training partner who was gifted in the strength department. So when I reached around 180kg (~400lbs) on the deadlift, it was still 10kg less than what he was doing a few week after lifting a weight for the FIRST TIME! lol After a few weeks of training, this guy (training partner) and his brother was doing 420lbs…

So every time I made a PR, I still felt like a right “weasel” next to him.

Damn those black genes!
