I remember somewhere around april you discussed
a benching program using ladders and said something about creating one around the 3 big lifts. Well I was wondering, how did that turn out? Did it work as well as you were wanting it to?
You may have already posted this info before but if so i had missed it and I didnt see it when I did an author search on the forum.

Yeah, it worked pretty well. I didn’t think the “ladder” part of the program was too productive though. Next time I’ll just repeat the 1x5 cycle, which put some nice poundage on my lifts.

I benched, then deaded, the squated-1 set of 5, M-F. Start w/ about 2/3 of your 1RM and then add 5lbs every workout until you hit your new 5RM; then repeat if desired. Obviously, you wont be hitting your new 5RM in every lift at the same time, which is fine, just treat them as seperate cycles. In other words, you may start over with one exercise before you hit your 5RM in another.
