I include this other, because this pose is hard to me (no one to help me)

don’t take me wrong, mak also dislike it. he stated it in a previous thread. I think I will cut it that part on next and leave just the legs. because is distracting.
Try boxer briefs.
juanjromero wrote:
what do you think on the arm structure as a whole? not measures, proportion. what to focus at?
I’m assuming this is the physique you want. While I do think his legs are lacking, take note of the other proportions.
Steve Reeves’ proportions were:
* Height: 6 ft 1 in (1.85 m)
* Weight: 216
* Neck: 18 1/4"
* Chest: 52"
* Waist: 29"
* Biceps: 18 1/4"
* Thighs: 26"
* Calves: 18 1/4"
and that’s cold (i.e. unpumped). Don’t take those numbers as gospel though, you’re height will probably call for different numbers - just note the massive difference in waist to chest and the numbers for neck, biceps and calves.

I can see where this thread is going. It’s dejavu all over again…

Yes, it is common to say his legs were lacking. i promise the brief for legs pic, on the after two months update.
waist is my problem, there is a genetic component on my tribe, if i get it to 29, i have to do a very big effort. but doable. I am far from that measures, but insist on the proportion thing.
i want to grow evenly all the parts. and i am pretty aware of my beggining condition. it has been just 6 months of hard work and you know this is just 6 weeks progress.
thanks for your words.

i am not sure this place is adequate to post this, but i find it interesting as always. I am not measuring myself on 5 weeks, I will found the measuraholic anonimus for gym goers.
But let see the numbers, i don’t want to debate it, just have a vision of what could be possible to achieve.
I take this from another site: it takes the height, wrist and ankle to say potential.
The WeighTrainer
Maximum Drug-Free Potential Measurements Calculator
Height: 67 in Wrist: 6.25 in
Ankle: 8 in
The estimated maximum muscular measurements (@ ~8%-10% bodyfat) are:
Chest: 45 in Biceps: 16.4 in
Forearms: 12.9 in Neck: 16.1 in
Thighs: 24.6 in Calves: 16.2 in
for Reeves, it says:
The WeighTrainer
Maximum Drug-Free Potential Measurements Calculator
Height: 73 in Wrist: 7.25 in
Ankle: 9.25 in
The estimated maximum muscular measurements (@ ~8%-10% bodyfat) are:
Chest: 50.4 in Biceps: 18.3 in
Forearms: 14.5 in Neck: 18.1 in
Thighs: 27.6 in Calves: 18.2 in

Slow down! Not every one can have such a tiny waist! If your waist ends up at 31-32", then make your upper body bigger to compensate!

Trash all of that. No website is going to tell you what you can or can’t do. You’re setting yourself up to fail by doing so. Make you YOU are happy with what you see in the mirror. I see no reason why 18" arms are out of your reach.

i don’t think it is the most I could do, i think it is the least.
and I did trash, that is why i am not measuring me anymore.
I just take the pic and see how my body looks like.
Now, i see my shoulder lacking, but I am not sure. also in traps, they are growing thicker but not higher on my neck. I am still focus on squatting 20reps. I reached 200x20, but this week I travel to honduras, I did workout at the hotel’s gym my back on the nautilus machines. when i came back, I was not able to squat the 205x20. just 205x15.
i did a pause and finish. I will try it again. on deadlift i am very happy because I did dl 3sets x 225pounds x 8reps and in my gym shift there is just one big guy who dl that amount. all the other guys says that had bad back and that is why they don’t DL.
I am very happy with my modest results. as for weight. I weighted this week and happily found 5 pounds gain. I increased my weight gaining to 1 pound per week, just by not weighting so frequently. and eating without care about fat.
I’m sorry. I dont want to be harsh neither i want to look like a “hater”.
but i dont understand the vote this guy get.
The chest picture he posted is “useless” (voting-wise)…
His back lack in widht and thickness and so on…
I dont think you should focus, or care all that much, about your lagging muscle just yet… work on… overall mass.

ok, i will take this one as a law to me.
Would you recommend me, to keep squatting the 20reps and DL as my driving split and just use as accesory chest/back split? i am kind of happy getting results, it is the first time i go longer than 5 weeks without adapting. I increase the weights every week and see changes all over my body and stamina.
your advice has been valuable before. what is your opinion?

don’t worry, the number does not affect me, i am posting to get advice not qualification.
i am not sure this is the place to ask for advice showing pics. I am trying to get untied from the number, just the look.
if you think that pic is worthless, i agree. look at the side pic, my chest is visible from there, and shape is visible from the other. what is your opinion?, i see the upper part lacking and don’t get a good excercise to hit it. any suggestion on that? it is getting larger on the lower part (side pic).
Ok, the back one, i got it already. i will continue to eating and DL and pull-upping. in two month I will re post.
any other thing?, i intend not to post (pics) on all that time,and hopefully reach the 168pounds.

Keep doing what ur doing as long as you improve, than i’d probably hit lower reps with heavier weights for like, 5-6weeks
and yes, weighted pull-ups/chin ups will help you for back width

Perhaps next time you should post in the Performance Photos section?

Ok. i will follow that path.
I saw your lats pose pic. Do you think it is my lat posing wrong? i think i did not spread it well. (I will keep working anyway).
