I’m about to order the Metal Ace Pro briefs off EliteFTS.com right now and as I went through the sizing chart, it says if you fall into 2 of the 3 categories for your sizing that, that is your size. Well im in 3 different spots so im wondering if anyone could help me out here. My sizes are as follows

Hey man – if I were you I’d just give them a call. If they don’t have someone there who can help, generally one of the guys on their team will call you back. I had some questions about a deadlift suit and Joe Jordan called me and talked to me for about 10 minutes about it.
Hey man I just finished breaking in a new pair of Metal Pro’s and we are the same thigh and pelvis measurement except Im a 38" in the waist. Maybe I can give you some help here. I had to get a 48 brief to fit my thighs and hips, and then had to have the waist taken in a LOT. Like I could get a 4 board and a bottle of gatorade down the front of the briefs and still had room. I can wear them for about 40 minutes before my legs fall asleep. Its tight but not to tight.
Also when you order your stuff ask for the contact info for the tailer that Elite Camp uses. She will tell how to mark your stuff and send it to her. She is really good and does a professional job.
I called up today, the woman on the phone took my name and number and said Jo Jordan would call me within the hour and I never recieved a phone call. I literally just ordered a size 48 so I’m glad I did that lol. I’ll give em a whirl when they come in and if i have to get them tailored ill do so. Thanks for the help guys.
no never, I want to work my way into getting into full gear for meets so i figured a brief would be a good first step. I tried baby powder and hooking the back on something and sitting into it and couldn’t get it all the way up. I’m thinking of getting a size up. Do you think it might be a matter of just trying to get into it until it breaks in enough?

Depends on how the thigh/leg portion fits? Are you putting it on inside out with trash bags?
Briefs are different for everybody, some guys like em tight with a bigger suit over it and some like them loose. I train in loose briefs up until closer to a comp.
You can try putting a basketball or football in the legs and pumping that up to stretch it out a bit. Make sure you wet the material a little. Then let it sit for while, say overnight. Then do the other leg. That should loosen them up a bit, if still cannot get in they might just be a little too tight.
How close is it to fitting? Mine stretched out considerably. I’ll echo the comments about using a basketball. For some of our benchers, we’ll hang the bench shirt up on a bar and put a kettle bell into each sleeve. This will stretch out the arms as well as the chest plate a little bit. You may be able to use a similar setup to stretch out the legs.

So close, If i could just get the sides of the suit up just a little high and the back then id be in there, i think it may just be a matter of stretching it out just a little bit, yesterday i tried again after work and got a little more in there. I’m going to try out the basketball/football thing and steal a c clamp from my job so i can hook on to something better and really sit my fat ass into it. Definitely appreciate all the help. All of this gear stuff is very new to me.
