I’m starting to get some headaches at basketball now. Monday I got a headache towards the end when we were doing a hard day of condition. It was almost a migraine type pain at first but it let up fairly soon but didn’t completely go away for several hours.
I had a really mild headache the next day but it wasn’t much and didn’t last long. Today, I didn’t have one at all but on the very last rep I did on the deadlifts (set of 8) I got another headache.
Anybody else experienced these? I’ve got a few days off and if they come again I’ll go to a doctor, I’m just wondering if any of you guys know anything about these.
Now I don’t like to give a diagnosis online, but you might just be dehydrated. Again though i’m no doctor and i don’t play one on tv. Just try to get more water.
I’m not sure if I’m hydrated enough. It’s nothing really out of the ordinary, though. I don’t think the amount of hydration is much if any lower than it has been the rest of the season.
The sleep wasn’t great, either. Kinda like the water situation, it’s not too much worse than it has been at other times when I’ve been fine.
Those were the two things that popped into my mind at first, they just seemed like they might not be right and I wanted to know if there were any other possible reasons.
One last thing, if it were dehydration that caused it, drinking enough water to hydrate wouldn’t fix it after the fact, would it? I drank a ton of water (and was pissing like crazy) after the first one and it still stuck with me.
Drinking water doesn’t make it always go away right away try should by the next morning however. it seems at least with me I need to focus on over drinking water for a few days before things even out.
Sleep is crucial also something I should be doing now but i’m currently having a shitty case of insomnia.
