Haven't Found an Effective Ab Workout

Ive been training for four years and still have not found an efective ab workout. Need advice

What constitutes effective? Since this is the bodybuilding forum, I assume you are more interested in appearance than being able to take a hard punch to the gut.

The main thing your abs need to look good is to lose any fat that is sitting on top of them. You don’t lose ab fat by doing ab workouts. When your body needs energy that it can’t get from food, it burns fat roughly evenly from wherever it is in your body.

So you just need to eat a high protein, medium fat, low carb diet that is composed of many small meals. And workout as much as you are able. Try running or swimming for 30 minutes+ 2x per week and lift weights 3x per week. See where that gets you.

Do that for a month. See where it gets you. Then come back and post details of your diet and workout, and get advice on how to improve it. Make those improvements, rinse and repeat.
