Tom Cruise is the real life equivalent of an imaginary wizard from a fairy tale.
I get it now.

Well, all the other 45lb plates were on the moon, then the one on earth would be heavier.

Getting degraded by a drill sargent is a totally different thing and should have not even been mentioned. They do that to toughen you up, probably because you will need it when you get your fucking legs blown off, which is totally different then normal life.

Wow.

What I hate about this site is all the damn thread hijacking. I click on a thread and by the time I get to the 5th post it’s a flame war or has nothing to do with the original topic. T-Nation has ADD.

Unless you’re this guy, the “T-Man” label is probably wasted on you. Sorry.

Here is what you and your ilk want. You want to log on and ask for the 100th time what the difference between Surge and Metabolic Drive is and have us just blown away by such a deep question.
You want people to fawn over this question as if it’s the most freaking mind-bending thing any of us have ever reads. “Like holy shit, dude! I have never thought about that. This is such a freaking interesting question. I haven’t had conversations like this since college!”
Now, two truths get in the way. First, the difference between the two products have been discussed so often that it’s not some original, mind-bending question. Just run a search for a dozen other threads in the past six months to see this.
Second, the fact that someone would ask this question indicates so much ignorance about basic nutrition that the answer should be: “You don’t know enough to be buying supplements if you can’t figure out the difference between a high GI carb + protein product and a slow-release protein only product.” That is the honest-to-goodness truth. Learn about yams and chicken breasts before you worry about supplements.
When people speak truth, they are called “negative.”
But in truth, people who don’t have enough respect for others that they clog the site up with a question that has been asked 10,000 times is negative. Going through the world as if every thought you have is original and mind-blowing and becoming offended when others disagree is negative.
Being called out on such conduct is not negative. It’s the most positive thing a person can do; as there is a shortage of people willing to call people out on their bullshit.

I totally understand what you mean Kroby. I know the only time I ever insult people and think badly about others is when I feel equally as badly about myself.[/quote]

(Good stuff by the way, no question about that)

Me and my ilk? Such a deep question? Look, I worded that thread poorly and made it a stupid question: In retrospect, I should have said “Which do you find you get more benefit from, Surge or Metabolic Drive Complete?” but I didn’t think it through, and asked it in a really dumb way.
This whole idea that I wanted you to be “blown away” by the “depth” of my question is… I dont know if its childishness or serious paranoia.
Dude, seriously, no, it wasn’t. I asked a dumb question, I admit. But at no time did I expect anyone reading the question to experience the fucking rapture because of what a damn good question it was. Now you’re just getting ridiculous.
Ok, so its a dumb question a lot of other people have asked. Incredibly, you survived it. Must have been all that military training; I think a few lesser readers passed away.
Yes, because of the stupid way I worded the question(s), I deserved a response like that. However, reading about and understanding the two would not give me any personal accounts on which other users have had more personal benefit from.
If I had said “I’m considering buying Surge or Metabolic Drive Complete because I’m on a budget right now. In your experience, which one have you seen more benefit from?”… would you still be reacting the same way?
Asking a stupid question thats been asked before and thinking its a mind-blowing original are two different things. Here, again, you take a simple (albeit dumb) question and conjure up completely batshit assumptions from it.

You’re a cop, right? You must be a cop. Or, at least, some form of job where you routinely have to assert that you’re “right” no matter what.
Yes, I worded a question thoughtlessly and ended up saying something dumb.
No, I did not, at any time, think my question was earth shattering/life changing/inspirational/“holy shit dude” inducing/any of the other nonsense you’re spouting.
I feel sorry for anyone in whose life you play an important role, if in fact this paranoid delusional complex affects other areas outside of these forums.
Then again, maybe (hopefully), its just here that you take on the tone of superiority where all others are ignorant fools blessed with the chance to suckle at the teat of your great wisdom.
Maybe here is the only place you bring your sense of entitlement that your free website not be clogged up by those same fools who are desperate for you to come show them the light.
