Cool man; glad you feel better. Seconding the respondent’s question, how long until you’re fully fit and mobile in that area? And lets have some pictures!!!

was the gyno due to AAS? was the $4700 out of pocket? Do you have insurance? did insurance cover any?

i read somewhere theres a non-surgical procedure involving ultrasound waves or something to that effect

No insurance for me all out of pocket. The doc said it will be about 2 weeks till I can do Medium intensity lower body work. Probably 1 month before chest. My procedure was removal of tissue and lipo to even everything out.

My gyno was mainly due to aas. I dont have any after pics yet so I will post before pics until I see the doc for my follow up. today (2 days post op) I can lift my arms above my head with only minimal soreness . Pretty bearable with ibuprofin.

The AAS was for recovery…

I’m having surgery friday with a military doctor. So I wouldn’t say I’m nervous, but there is a little more risk. But I’ve been waiting for this for 2 years, and its a huge relief to finally do this and hopefully be normal again. Mine was caused by AAS.Let us know how it everything goes.

I was able to workout almost immediately after surgery.

Are you talking like less than a week? How long did it stay swollen for? and how long did you have to wear that compression vest?

I woke up with a patch over my nipple. Left the hospital about noon.

By 6pm that evening, I was doing push ups. That night we threw a party at my house.

Within the week I was in the gym. It was sensitive to direct contact for quite some time, but nothing unbearable.

The doctor never even brought up the use of a compression vest.

They aren’t doing anything that affects your muscle, I don’t know why recovery would be very long.

How extreme was your case, and are you completely satisfied with the results? I’m saving money right now to hopefully have surgery sometime next year.

I have had cancer, so because I’m high risk, insurance paid for the surgery.

Mine was a marble plus sized lump under my left nipple. It was tender to touch, and you could see that my nipple poked out.

I am completely satisfied with the results. You can not see any type of scar what-so-ever.

Did you have any adipose tissue removed? Or only the gland?

Here is the post op pic 5 days later. Not alot of bruising or swelling. The doc said the better shape you are in the faster the healing

No offense - have you ever tried to lean out? If so, did it make a difference in your chest? I’m no expert, but it seems possible to me that you may have seen an improvement through diet and exercise. Again, do disrespect. Take it as a compliment more than anything.

Hope you feel better and are back in the gym soon.

I’ll share your post surgery pics with my kids when we have the “supplement” conversation.
