Heyyyyyy! Thanks for stopping by! I always like hearing about different ways to kinda “trick” your mind out of anxiety.
Most of thoughts/worries are very irrational, so something I’ve started doing recently is when I can tell I’m about to have a panic attack, I quickly tell myself “no, I will worry about this when it actually happens.” And it seems to dissipate it for the most part.
I’m not saying to myself like "NO JENN! You are not allowed to feel anxious! More just like, okay, let’s reserve this anxiety for the actual moment when shit is going down, and because everything I think is so absurd, there never actually comes a time when I have to deal with the reality !

A while ago there was this bodybuilder guy that approached me at the gym and started chatting me up, etc…
We both agreed that it was really annoying when people skipped and did jumping jacks between sets and whatnot. So we got along, basically.
He found me on facebook and messaged me and then TXTed me and wanted to hang out and so on and so fourth.
At this time I was still being fucked by M*$#Hall, so his advances didn’t excite me too much. Also, I wasn’t interested regardless.
SO I kinda said like, listen I am a hermit and I don’t really know if I’ll be able to get out of that funk anytime soon.
It went away (sort of), but he still tXted me and stuff, but then (!)

Yesterday at work this boy (man) came in to get his PIN changed on his VISA. And it was all fine and good until I finally looked at him and realized he kinda looked like he liked rap music, LOL. Then during the course of our transaction I noticed from his profile we had the same Birthday. So I made small talk about that and what not, then for some reason, (reason being that I am socially awkward and talk about dumb shit) I brought up my potential rap career.
So of course he’s into rap and gets very excited and I talked about how I used to battle< LOL, some hardcore freestyle shit behind the mall at lunch time.
As he’s about to leave he asks for a piece of paper to write down a rap artist I might be interested in. Me being clueless as to the fact that he is actually writing down his number, I decide to just write down Eminem on a piece of paper and give that to him…
