If you’ve ever watched a Meadows training vid then you know that like pain face.
The face that’s like, holy fuck what he’s doing is so obviously painful, but he’s doing it, and he’s clearly not being a whiney bitch about it.
I pictured that face when I wanted to stop certain sets and realized my face doesn’t (YET) look like that face so what I am doing isn’t hard enough and therefore stopping would be very pussy-ish of me.

I’m good at something!!!
When I was powerlifting it was awful and shitty because I had wrong form for everything, stupid ideas about programs, lack of patience, frustration and inability to listen to my body, yadda yadda.
I was not good at powerlifting, in fact, I was downright bad at it.
But I’m good at this bodybuilding stuff.
My form for everything is awesome, and I have really good mind muscle connection. I have good ideas about programing, and can plan things properly without it being totally mental/program hoppy. I know what works well for my body, and doesn’t seem to be effective. I can read and learn things and decide for myself what is best for me without it freaking me out like “TOO MUCH INFORMATION I DON’T WANT TO READ ANYMORE ARTICLES, OY THE CONTRADICTIONS!!” I know when I need to work harder, and I know when I need to rest. I know how to properly adjust my calories, when I feel I need more, when I feel I need less. I can pin point weaker muscle groups and work away at them without it stressing me out or making me feel shitty.
All in all, this is just exactly where I want to be in the gym and exactly what I want to be doing.
Right path that I’m on, it’s the fucking most prefect path ever and I hope I never stray ever again.
I’m really enjoying gym time, if you didn’t catch that from the paragraph above…
