goat i think is much better than chicken.
for 3 oz you get
120 calories
2.6 grams fat
64 cholesterol
0 carbs
0 sugar
23 grams protein.
looks like a much more solid choice for chicken when your trying to lose weight

Goat is better than chicken because almost any meat is better than chicken. Goat is really tasty, but so is bison, beef, venison, elk, pork ostrich, horse, etc. Duck or goose are much tastier birds than chicken also.

yeah but for calorie to protein ratio goat looks even more superior to all those. only one i don’t know is horse because i haven’t seen the nutritional facts but i would bet goat is still best for weight loss and muscle maintenance, even better then good ol turkey. why do you even reply to my threads though? seriously you and some other guy just call me a troll and say i prob look like a typical fatty. why even reply to my threads if your just gonna be a douche?
Perhaps I’m misreading something, but those numbers really don’t look right. 3 oz is about 85 grams, so you’re saying goat meat is around 3.5% protein?!?
I also hope that the 64 for cholesterol is also mg and not grams.
Mountain Gorilla is pretty solid if you can find it. Pricy though
for 3 oz. you get
180 calories
2.8 grams fat
72 cholesterol
0 carbs
0 sugar
49 grams protein.
Not bad.

Why do you keep posting so many threads, especially with such odd premises?
I’m not calling you a troll, but I really think you’re approaching some of this stuff from kind of a weird angle.
Maybe it would be better to ask “what the best meat for weight loss and muscle maintenance?” There’s at least one notable member of this board who swears by horsemeat, if you were wondering.
From a protein per pound standpoint, Kangaroo is actually pretty high.

3 ounces of chicken has almost 20 grams of protein. If goat has 1 gram of protein per ounce, I’d think it was quite possibly the worst meat for building muscle or maintaining muscle while on a caloric deficit.
Yeah, but, I prefer my home not stink to high hell.

I have had Kangaroo, and it sucks. The best way to have Kangaroo is to make it in a stew. And boil it for several hours with some decent sized rocks in the pot with it. Then with it is done, throw out the kangaroo, and eat the damn rocks. I like pretty much any kind of meat and animal flesh, but not a fan of those.
If your main concern is protein per calorie, then I know an amazing source of it that’s around 90 grams of protein for ~384 calories.
It’s called whey.

How did you cook it, and why did it suck?
If it was like eating rubber then I can safely say whoever cooked it stuffed up. It’s very lean, so when I get a roo steak/fillet/&c I find that it’s best pan fried or BBQed only to medium rare or it’ll get very tough very quickly.
If it’s taste then fair enough, it can be a bit gamey.

um idk if you ever went to school but the reason i didn’t ask “what the best meat for weight loss and muscle maintenance?” like you suggested was because i was giving my opinion and not asking a question. get it?
i meant 23 grams protein

obviously. some people don’t want to chug protein all day though
