She’s a thing of beauty Trib, I’m jealous.
Real nice setups guys…Gonna look at getting one started for myself…think thick grip rotating dumbells will be a nice place to start (eyes glace over)…yeah that’ll do nicely
just got my ivanko easy grips today, now i can my thick handle that i made with an ace bandage off ![]()
Trib,
You inspired me to build a home gym since I am snowed in and can’t go to the gym.
I really need to build one for days like this.

These are on my list. Power Hooks also are really useful at home. I got a pair of those 6 or 7 months ago. Really help because my shoulders ain’t what they used to be.
What are you talking about man, thats a nice gym… i would love to have that!

I didn’t even think of that, but yes another rationale to be sure. Like I say, I was really surprised by how cheaply perfectly usable equipment could be had.

I really should’ve named this thread something like “My Home Gym”. I guess I underestimated it. You’re about the 10th guy who said something like this. Thanks BTW.

Here’s what mine looks like.

and the DB’s…
Your dumbbells don’t have any rust =] That is also one large rack. Power rack I mean, though your dumbbell rack is good size too. That’s one thing about having your own gym. Stuff that seems extra, like a dumbbell rack (or plate trees) is key for optimizing space. There’s the coolness factor too, but space is at a premium unless you live in a mansion.

The DB Rack

The rack + seated row/lat pulldown.
I just saw the weight on the rack.
Was lifting some heavy weights that day!
This is your house? Clearly you have a better job than I do. I think most of my whole house would fit in your gym =] I don’t feel so bad about calling mine ghetto now.

Mine, a work in progress. I’ve got one of those racks from newyorkbarbells.com, not bad for the price.

Another guy with that Marcy bench. Third or 4th so far. Does the adjustable part of yours tilt a bit too?
Nah man it’s actually my studio.
But I got into PT for the right reasons. I wanted to own a nice place to workout in.
But to afford it for myself, I have to charge other people to use it. Works well really.
