There is this exact same thread in the T-cell, and it is unfortunately similar to this. [/quote]
No - it’s really not the same thread.
what a stupid thread.
Newsflash: There’s a level of talent for everything-
Running, singing, dancing, cooking, math; yes, even fucking and genital size!
A strange thought occurs: maybe strength training/“persuit of muscle” is not an exception?

Actually a good example in that the genetics that allowed his great length also could not withstand the rigors of an NBA season and never allowed him to gain any appreciable muscle mass and hence durability. At the end of the day, his NBA career was absolutely pedestrian, a footnote based on his extreme height rather than what he accomplished on the court.
And Kanada is falling into this fallacious causation/correlation trap about rowers and such. It’s like stating that high frequency works because it works for a certain subset of athletes, like gymnasts, but forgetting that we are not including all those that couldn’t cut it as gymnasts because of their genetics. Of course those still standing have the genetic material for the endeavor. It’s like pointing to the guy that could withstand and thrive on a Smolov cycle but ignoring the dozens that fell apart trying it or had to abandon it.
And Kanada, all flames aside, if that’s you in the avatar (the leaner and “better” of the two) you do not have an impressive physique and it has nothing to do with your weight. There are guys in abundance that never touched a weight that look better than you do because of…their genetics!
With hard work and dedication, you can achieve “within the middle”, but you cannot compete among the “outliers”. This means that yes you can get bigger, stronger, more educated, but unless you have the raw genetic material, all the practice, dedication, desire in the world will not make you an elite athlete or a theoretical physicist (an outlier). Of course, if you never try, you’ll never know…but you’ll know soon enough. Your line of thinking that if you “never try” does not rebut the basic point that genetics matter in the extremes.
Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha
So my son with Downs just has not worked hard enough is that what you are saying. Are you even old enough to shave yet?

if that doesn’t end this thread, nothing will
For the record, I do understand what the OP was getting at even though he is misinformed.
I also think that we could have done that better because he has been here for a while. Treating like a troll when he’s just young and ignorant about the subject doesn’t make the 40 year olds here look better.
