First Run With IGF-1

I am now in my second week of IGF/MGF run and have noticed a couple of things. My calories have been increased a little, due to increased hunger and my strength has gone up a little. Yesterday I worked shoulders, which was the first muscle injected.

I had a killer pump in them by the end of the workout. Hopefully this feeling will increase with every week. I expect good things in the training department in the following weeks. I will check my weight at the end of the second week to see what the scale says.

Quick update on my IGF/pegMGF cycle. It is day 12, body weight up to 232 from 228. Feeling stronger across the board, bench and squats up about 20lbs. Not huge changes but it is still early. I also will continue to point out that this is finishing my third week of a test taper.

Looking back I wish I would have ran this through a cycle or after PCT was over. Reason being, this is my first time using the test taper over conventinal PCT and I would have liked to have experienced it without the peptide boost. But hell, I will probably use this taper + IGF for all PCT from now on… So far I am impressed.

OK so ive got 2000mcg of IGF-r3. My plans were to run a 40 day cycle at 50mcg daily. These injections would be 25mcg upon waking up and 25mcg before going to bed. This is my first IGF-r3 cycle. Would this be a good cycle length and dose for my first time.

If anyone thinks I should change the dose and lenght of cycle feel free to post your opinion! Again I have 2000mcg to play with so keep that in mine.

Swole- I did a bunch of research on IGF-r3 prior to starting my cycle. From what I learned (mostly from people who have done multiple runs with this stuff) is that you should inject PWO into the trained muscle group bilaterally. Also, unless you are rather heavy > 275lbs I would not go past 40mcg a day. From what I understand more is not better in this case, and intestinal growth is a possible side effect. This is the protocol that I am following right now and so far it is working well. But this is just my opinon, good luck.

This is my first run with the IGF-r3 and im a week in now and im noticing weird stomach cramping? Im Runing 50mcg 25 in the morning and 25mcg about 9 hours later. Should i worry?

Swole, I am into my third week of IGF/MGF and had not had any stomach cramping. My dose is slightly lower than yours (40mcg) a day, and my dosing protocol in also different. IMO you may want to try switching your protocol and dosing. The main side from IGF is going to be intestinal growth so the stomach pain is a little suspect.

New update, closing out week 3 of IGF/pegMGF use and I am still satisfied. Still up four lbs. from beginning and bodyfat has stayed the same. Strength has made continued improvments.
I had a odd occuance yesterday though. I woke and felt fine.

Had a very good back and trap workout, injected and ate a huge meal. After about an hour I had a strong pain in my sternum and clavicle on my right side. The pain later extended into my lowerback.

This morning I feel great, no pain, maybe I will ease up on the strength progressions. But besides for that my training is excellent and I only have three weeks of my test taper left.

SHIT!

I forgot a very important aspect of peptide protocol. I have had zero refrigeration of my peptides post reconstitution. They have been kept in my office at about 64degrees.

Have I just lost the whole batch? My gains have been good but maybe they should have been better. Could a peptide vet get back to me on this one?

I am using Long r3 IGF-1 and pegMGF. All the time I spent researching protocols and I missed this critical aspect.

Final Results:

I just completed my 5th week of IGF (40mcg/day) and pegMGF(400mcg/week). My final weight is 233lbs, up five pounds from the beginning. Bodyfat is exactly the same.

My overall impression is very good. This being my first run and I used it during a test taper I was happy to make gains. I will undoubtedly use IGF during all future PCT. The pegMGF is not as well understood and I’m not sure how much it helped during this run.

My strength gains far exceeded my weight gains. I noticed that after the first three weeks my changes in bodyweight did not move much. I would guess my strength to have gone up 30-40 lbs across the board.
My plans as of now is to finish off my test taper and plan another run of IGF and possible pegMGF in the next 5-6 weeks.

what about not refridgerating your IGF, do you think it mattered?

It’s hard to tell. After reconstitution it was kept in my basement which is probably around 60 degrees. I definitely noticed the first 3 weeks being more effective than the last 2 weeks but I heard that this is normal for an IGF cycle.

Another variable is that I was in the middle of PCT which probably hindered my gains slightly. In another 5-6 weeks I will run another IGF/MGF cycle and I hope the results will the same or greater.

I just read an article by Anthony Roberts (mesomorphosis.com) and in the article he recommends taking MGF immediately after a workout then IGF an hour later. It seems his theory is the MGF will make the IGF more efficient. I’m way too dumb to comprehend all of the biology crap…maybe someone can help me out and advise whether it seems like a good idea or not. Thanks.

bump.

2thepain, have you done another cycle of this, and if so, what were your results? Thanks.

Funny you should ask. In about five minutes I am about to go reconstitute a vial of IGF. I will run 3 weeks at about double the dosage. This time it is taking place during the final three weeks of my cycle instead of PCT. I will give results after I finish. I will be using the same injection protocol as before with higher IGF dosing and no MGF this time.

Do you need to aspirate Igf? I never aspirate but since ill be injecting biceps and chest i might need to.

It would be wise to aspirate IGF. Others who have tried IV IGF injections said the results were not very pleasent.

Can you keep your igf at room temperature? Theres no way i can keep it in the fridge. I plan on using it all in 5 weeks anyway.

I don’t think it will last 5 weeks at room temp. I wasn’t able to keep it in my fridge either. My girlfriend has no idea what it is and would freak on me. So I kept it in a small cooler in my gym bag. I would just switch out the cold pack everyday and it kept the IGF nice and cool.

My insulin syringes are measured in iu. 50 iu equals a 1/2cc. How many mcgs is in a iu and do you use the same needle for bi lateral injections?
