Definitely. Are you in fact natty? I would consider making the bet even if you aren’t, but since ‘natty’ is in the thread title, I’m sort of assuming this is part of the criteria.
And yes I am, only back in the gym 3 months; gave it up for a few years to focus on career.

Bet’s on then! Worst case scenario: you finish the year with some beastly lifts and show a ton of people what can really be done in a year, and I’m out 60 bucks. I can live with that.

Pulled 190kg for 3 for a 2 rep PR. Got ugly on the second two reps, bar was too far forward at the setup.

Sorry, saw nothing but that chick gettin low in the background.
It’s ok, whenever you pop up in a thread I never see anything but your avatar
When I think a thread needs a good gif I pop in and then disappear once I think my presence has been known to quietly lurk through the forums

All of these were done back in October. I got a nice 2" long, 0.5" deep stab wound on my forearm from a piece of glass around then, just now starting to be able to lift heavy again.
Current: 365/355/415/215
Year End Goals: 415/415/505/285
Funny related story. Last week, I joined a second gym, as that’s pretty much my life - work and gym. Wanted to hit better deadlift for over a year now, so I figured I’d do more with a specific goal in mind. This thread was a happy coincidence. I signed up for the orientation at the new place, because, free education, right?
So I guess I have to take it as a compliment when the owners and trainers questioned why I was in a orientation with beginners, and I had to explain that I never had anyone but bros and other gym rats train with me or show me how to do anything. Owner tells me afterwards “You need to be on a program”. We do a quick look at my injured shoulder and arm, (extremely limited) range of motion and mobility, and it turns out I have no idea what I’m doing, I just like training. You’d all probably agree - 10-20 working sets of variations of overhead presses, deadlifts, squats, benches (separate days on a bodypart split), plus warmup sets and accessory work - for over a decade, with some breaks due to life.
Recommendation was to regain mobility, etc, and then work my way back up. I know this is the smart thing to do, just the least fun…
Jlabs is angry he didn’t get the invite. Steps in the ring* I’m coming bitches!!!
Stats 5’11 ,170 pounds
Dead=415,squat=345=bench 235, ohp= 150
I will hit the squat first,then overhead, then dead and my bench has no hope lol. I will bust my ass though. I mean this is the order I will try to get these goals. Not that I intend to win any awards or hurt any ones feelings!
I finally broke that god damn annoying 225 bench level with 2x a week Layers methods by CT. Give it a look. I was very happy all around with the progress I saw in about 4mos.
Worked up to a 175kg squat last night, may have had 180kg in me at a push but i was happy with a 5kg PB. Feeling it today though big time. 10kg’s off on BP and DL and 5kg off on Squat. No idea on military press as I havnt been training it but push pressed 80 for 5 pretty easy after my last bench session.
