I just bought 2 bottle of flax oil with 450 ml each bottle. Bought a metamucil with sugar free content. I have some Advanced Protein and some left over Champion Nutrition protein powder low carb. Tribex, Methoxy, ZMA, power drive, MD6 are all that i have.
I will start my workout tomorrow. I usually workout 4x a week. I think i'll just change to 3: Wednesday, Friday, Sunday.
So, here is what i got from the forum and i summarize it in point form. Hope everybody comments if there are any mistakes at all.
1>. Start with 1300 cals and no more.
2>. 50% of 1300 cals should come from protein and 50% from fat (flax seed oil)
3>. Only 1 solid meal a day.
4>. Take 1 shake right after workout.
5>. Weight train + 30 min cardio (3 to 4x a week)
6>. Take metamucil 2x a day (morning and evening). Is this a good idea since i have school in the morning till 4.30 pm?
7>. Take multivitamins.
8>. Take MD6, Methoxy, Tribex, power drive.
I still have 2 questions:
1>. I workout early in the morning. I wake up at 7. Do i take MD6 on empty stomach and 1 serving power drive and workout at 8? This means that i workout on empty stomach. Is this fine?
2>. If i sleep at 11.30 pm, what time is the last shake i should have.

Ok Jonathan…all the supps you listed are great. Yes, 50% from flax, 50% from protein ('bout 1300 cals daily). You DON’T have to eat a solid meal at night, I do it to keep sane though. I usually eat a serving of salmon, if not then steak or chicken. (usually I eat enough to feel full and not stuffed) If I were you, I would go get some Colon Cleanse or something similar, instead of the Metamucil, see Mr.Shugart’s reply below. Taking the fiber isn’t going to make you run to the bathroom right away…so don’t sweat it (no pun intended! :-D) I would say it’s ok to workout on an empty stomach with the assistance of MD6 and Powerdrive, but if it gets too difficult don’t hesitate to drink a shake before hand…it’s your total cals at the end of the day that matter most. Same thing with drinking a shake before bed time…you can theoretically drink the shakes any time you damn well please as long as you don’t go over your caloric allowance of 1300 calories. By the way, school is very important, so if you start to feel your mental performance drop, don’t blow it with this diet. Maybe do a revised version and have a regular MRP in the morning before school which usually has about 25 grams of carbs. The MD6 and Powerdrive should help with your brain performance, but I have found that I’m still a little ‘stupid’ without the dietary carb intake. It’s up to you though.
Michelle, to find bottles of flax oil you have to go to a health food store. I think GNC usually only carries small bottles of the capsule form.
Everybody: drink ALOT of water daily.
Jonathan I myself work out on a empty stomach. I am up at 7:00 and between 7:00 and 8:00 I have a shake. I then wait until 10:00 when I feel my stomach rumble and take my MD6 and a serving of Powerdrive. I like taking this on a empty stomach as I feel it better. I work out at around 10:30 and I am just wired and ready to go. Everyone is different but since the power drive I have not felt tired and my stamina is good at the gym. I also think I have been luckier then most as I haven’t noticed any real decrease in my brain function. Being able to think on my feet is part of my job and I have had no problem so far.
This is day 19 for me as of now! Can’t believe I am doing this still. Dropped a lot of weight, I’ll fill you in soon my body fat checker wasn’t at the club today. I feel ok but get so hungry before I go to bed. My workouts have been very sporadic, some great some very weak. I’ve been ok without the help of any metamucil or anything like it. My stomach and bowls are “strong like bull”. Have a great night.
Jonathan: Don’t do the fat fast!!! I don’t know why others are encouraging you to do it. Gain muscle first, muscle will burn calories. Eat protein, eat fat, eat carbs, eat eat eat. When you feel full wait 2 hours and eat some more. If you are working out hard doing things right you will put on tons of muscle. I don’t want to be rude but by the time you finish this you will be around 120 pounds. Abs on a 120 pound man aren’t so great. Read the Massive eating article (do the search again). Please reconsider the fat fast, work out your abs make them bigger have a good time filling up with good foods and thousands of calories per day. *** note to all, day 19 of the fat fast and I might reply different if I were on the massive eating program. Please don’t take this as rude just wanting to help. PS thanks to all who have helped me too.
I don’t know what to do anymore! I just started the program this morning. I just had one shake and wait for 2 hours before i am taking power drive and half hour later will be my leg workout for today.
Rex, I just don’t like my abs being this big (in my opinion). People may look at me saying that i am lean and probably 6 pack behind my shirt; however, that’s not the case. 33" at 140 lbs meaning that i don’t have a lot of muscle. My pants are getting tighter and it’s hard for me to breathe. I envy those people that at this weight most have shredded abs already.
I am not doing this for long though… probably 1 week or 10 days or 14 days? Maybe it will get rid off some of my lard.
I have posted the info that i am 5’6 140 lbs. Pretty skinny. But not much muscle either. My abs is 33" not good and biceps 13.75". I have successfully maintained this for almost 3 month but the abs still does not want to go away.
Well, day three. I have to admit it’s been hard at times, but I only want to be on this for seven more days and a lot of you guys have already blown past that so I know I can do it. The crazy thing is - my weights are now going up!!! I’m deep into ketosis (breath mints anyone?) and yet today (leg day) my quad extensions were 210 instead of 180. I could have done more but I didn’t want to hit failure on a low carb diet. Every weight was higher. My calves, my hams, even my ad and abducters. This is amazing. Also - I get more sleepy but I don’t feel weak. I don’t feel mentally sluggish either. I actually feel rather sharp. We’ll see how long this lasts, I just may be having a good experience because I’m only on day three. I’ll keep you posted. Oh yeah, I’ve dropped 4 lbs. I know some is water, but the top of my abs are starting to poke through. I put on a bikini this morning just to check my progress and my husband thought I was holding in my stomach. When he found out I wasn’t he was really impressed. He’ll be going on this as soon as his bulking phase is over.
Jonathan: What are you calling abs? Your abs are too big? Your abs are the muscles that are under your fat on your stomach. You know the washboard thing you probably want.
Day 17, yesterday was a great day to keep me motivated. Loads of family and friends who I haven’t seen in a couple of weeks really noticed the difference in face and body. I am down 14 pounds and waist is down 2 1/4 inches as of this morning. Measured my arms and there was no change in their size. I feel great the power Drive is making the workouts great. People on week one, it gets easier on week 2 and beyond, epecially when people start noticing that you have lost weight, it just makes you want to carry on. I have been drinking even more water this past week, almost a gallon and 1/2 a day. Just can’t go on any long car trips due to my frequent bathroom breaks. Today I am thinking about treating myself and getting all my protein from real food, probably chicken and tuna. Keep it up people!!!
Hahahaha… i just finished my first day on this diet. I couldn’t even sleep last night since i felt so hungry. My stomach kept singing all the time. Finally, i managed to sleep though.
I found the first day was tough. My energy during the workout dropped pretty fast. I used to eat lots of simple sugars before workout.
I peed so much but i am used to it. No problem for me since i drink a lot everyday. No problem with bowel movement as well.
I don’t know if i am supposed to do this but i kept measuring my arms yesterday. I don’t know if it decreases or not but if it decreases more than .25" i will stop.
How can you guys be so sure that the reduction in the waist size is due to fat loss and NOT due to the absence of food (since what you’re eating is MRP and water and if you pee, everything will be gone and your abs will look smaller, right?)
I just pinched my abs couple times yesterday. I know this sounds ridiculous (i did this measurement soooo many times) but there was no change at all.
This morning i notice my abs is getting smaller but i guess it’s because my stomach has nothing in it.
What do you guys think about this?

I am not sure how to assess the abs. (Rex, my abs are under the fat layer. I understand that. The problem is i am skinny and i have so much of those (33"). I think everybody at 140 lbs 5’6 should have a washboard abs already.
Expect that arm size is gonna drop some. As you lose water and glycogen (and eventually fat) arms are going to slim like the rest of you. Good news is the leaner you get the musclular you look. I’m down 10# and people are convinced that I’m getting bigger. Now my waist hasn’t gotten too much smaller cause I don’t think it can. I’m 5’10" and waist is about 32". And no, I still don’t have a good sixpack yet.
can anyone post l a sample menu of the fast fat diet. i’m not sure if i understood the article and what the meals are supposed to contain. a post l would be great. thanks in advance.
I’ve been in 2nd days now. I found that i am getting leaner already. This thing WORKS!!! However, all my body is getting so lean now.
I think this works much much better if you have more muscle. Since i weigh only 140 lbs to begin with, i’ve already looked skinnier even in 2nd day. Can you imagine?
All my arms, shoulder, deltoid, chest shrunk. However, i don’t lose strength at all.
I will do this again when i got more muscle. I will bulk up starting on Monday and probably till about 6-8 weeks or so… and do the fat fast again.
I don’t find that it’s demanding at all since i am used to eat the same food all the time.
I am so happy to find something that works.

MickeyD…look at one of my replies below. In one of them, I clearly outline to Jonathan what I have been eating and supps. I am taking. As for a menu, on this particular diet, all you really need is some protein powder and flax oil. I’m using whey protein, but probably a mix is best, like a product called ProBlend-55…or of course, Advanced Protein from Biotest. What Brock Strasser (the ‘creator’ of this diet) did was to allow himself around 1300 calories a day, half of the cals coming from protein powder, the other half from flax oil. So that would be about 40 grams of protein (in most protein powders on the market it’s about two scoops) and one Tablespoon of flax oil. That would be 4 shakes a day, equaling about 1300 calories. You CAN eat solid food meals if you want, the whole idea is to go on a low calorie, ketogenic diet. If I choose to eat solid food in place of one of my shakes, it would be fish (I like salmon), chicken breast, beef, or eggs. Hope this helps…
jonathan after two days you haven’t lost anything but water, I am puzzled by your posts and wonder if maybe you are a younger person. You can’t do the fast for only a couple of days and look in the mirror and be leaner. Even if you are going to lose strength, it won’t happend after two days. First at 140 lbs the last thing you should be doing is a weight loss program, unless you are 5 feet tall. Just trying to help you out but I think you need to re look at what you are doing and read as much info as you can about lifting and growing. Results take time, you don’t cut up in 2 days.
Well, I’m sick. Not just a little sick, I’m lying in bed coughing up green stuff sick. So, of course, I’m off the fast so I can get better. I’m gonna miss my trip to the gym tonight… My little germ factories (ages two and three and a half) have struck again. The good new is, my husband said If I’ll only wait two more weeks until he’s off his bulking phase, he’ll do it with me. It’s got to be easier with someone by my side so I just might take him up on it. Not sure yet, got a headache, gotta sleep.
