FFSG (fat fast support group)

Gentlemen! It is time once again. I start probably on Tuesday (when my supps are delivered) and have a partner in my wife. She’s doing it with me. She’ll get Methoxy 7 while I get Methoxy, Androsol, and Tribex. The bummer is, I just slammed 500 bucks on my Visa.

Ok its the middle of day 6 and I’m feeling very good for some reason! Basically, I’m using the following: 1)Androsol( I really get a pump after I spray this on!). 2)MD6 (as if I could do the fast without it!). 3)Methoxy 7, I use this more for the fat burning and healthy factor than the anabolic factor. 4) Centrum. 5) About 2-3 grams of vitamin C a day. I am going to switch off Androsol after the 12th day and onto Tribex for a week then onto Nandrosol. My workouts are light, maybe 30-45 min, 3 times a week, low intensity. Cardio is done 3 days a week for 20 min HIT style. Rest on sunday. Oppinions? -Watts-

Well Day 2 is here and I feel pretty good. Last night was tough though, the hunger pains were a bit rough last night. I don’t know if my MD6 wore off or it was in my head. I can see myself sleeping a lot in my free time over the next 2-3 weeks to keep mind off the hunger if it gets like this each night. The daytime has been no problem. Workouts have been good and I feel good. Is there anything else that anyone has taken to suppress appetite?

Anybody want to try ‘Cutting Gel’ (Epidril) while on FF? Seems like the best time. Considering it myself although I asked my plastic surgeon about it and he said it wouldn’t do shit. Who knows?

I found a great way to drink the shake down. Add half the water and then ice cubes to make a thick rich choc. shake. Mmmm Good! (think i hit delusional phase) day 6 down, ??? left.

Howdy T-Folk, just thought I should mention this. I read BodyOpus about 2 years ago, and followed all the instructions (minus the drugs) for the keto diet. On the afternoon of the 5th no-carb day, I had my blood glucose levels checked and “there was no change from normal”. I was nowhere even near ketosis! Sure, I’d lost some fat, but I seemed to lose just as much muscle. I’m not sure that it’s actually possible to get into ketosis without insulin/metformin/etc… general glucose disposal agents.

OK you rat bastards…lol, I started today. Must say, I was with my family yesterday, and my brother the 6’4" 230 lb vegetarian (about 30% B/F if you ask me…tells me that this diet is SO bad for me…gonna kill my liver and kidneys. After I laughed at his gut hanging down…and his complete lack of muscularity…I told him that he was closer to a coffin than I was. Anyway, started today, with the FF, with a slight modification. I have liquid creatine from Optimum nutrition that I got on clearance sale at GNC (Just 6 bucks for 32 oz…usually 25.99) anyway, I am going to take 12 grams of this creatine a day which gives me 16 grams of carbs each day. Hopefully not too much carbs, but I am experimenting to see if the creatine will keep the water weight so that I get a more accurate fat loss measurement each day…and to try to prevent some of the muscle flatness…will let you know how it works. The first gym workout was at noon, and it was squat day…and let me say…it SUCKED…thank god for MD-6 which helped a great deal from how I was feeling originally this morning. Anyway, I have my martial arts tonight…that should be interesting…lol. If I don’t die tonight I will let you know how tomorrow goes…and keep you updated on the little creatine experiment. Well it is Day 4 and I must say the yesterday and today have been a lot easier then the first 2. I took measurements of my waist and arms the morning I started and agian this morning. So far I have dropped 5 pounds in 3 days and have lost 1 inch off my waist. My arm measurement was the same. I feel great, I did adjust when I took my MD6 to better handle the hunger pains, so far so good, yesterday(sun) and today have been really good. My workouts havent’ been bad either, I have noticed no drop in strength yet. My energy levels have been only about 80% but I think the changes in when I take MD6 should help those out in the gym. I have also been drinking water like a madman, about 4-5 litres a day. I am pissing like crazy but it sure helps to keep the stomach from rumbling.

Its day 16 for me. I’ve not held to the low carb requirement too well but kept calories down and training volume high. I started at 16.4% bf and today tested @ 14.5%. I’m satisfied so far. I ordered ‘Cutting Gel’ today so we’ll see how that goes.

One day so far…hungry as hell! Got a question…what are you guys doing for fiber? Metamucil? How much? Anyone try Advanced Protein yet?

I started the FF yesterday with one modification. I have a liquid creatine supp with 6 grams creatine with 8 grams of carbs. I will be taking this twice a day so I will have 16 grams of carbs per day. I am trying this to see if the creatine will prevent some of the flatness…also give me a more accurate fat loss instead of a lot of water loss…will let you know if it works. Anyway, went to my martial arts class last night…and hit a friggin wall about halfway thru…so much for having energy!!! Also…does anyone else have the issue that when they sweat they get the lovely odor of flaxseed oil? I turned quite a few heads in class last night and it wasn’t because of my shredded body…it was because of my wonderful body odor!! LOL! It might be the new T-man cologne…odor de flaxseed!!
So far day 2 is going well…no major cravings…and feeling pretty good…thank god for MD-6! Keep the faith all!!

I’m going to slide into the Fast Fat after an extended Androsol mass cycle, so I want to do this without the Androsol; will the substitution of Methoxy and Tribex instead of Androsol provide adequate muscle preservation?

Hey guys. I won’t even come close to doing what you guys are doing. Nope. Not me. You guys have balls. Big huge ones. Anyway, I’m just posting to let you know a cheap and effective fiber supplement. I use and recommend to my clients 20-30 grams of fiber per day from ground flax seed. The only one to use is Dakota flax Gold by Heintzman Farms 1-800-333-5813. It only costs $6.00 for a pound and this will give you 20 grams of fiber daily for 15 days. A second benefit is the fact you will be getting 20 grams of flax oil also. This stuff tastes good (nutty) and doesn’t need to be refrigerated until ground (by a coffee grinder or your blender). Cheap, cheap, cheap.

I figured I’d jump in on this thread too… I’m on day two of the FF and it’s kinda painful, hoping I can last long enough to see results so i can strengthen my resolve to stay on this thing!

One question though (I lent my copy of issue 3 out to my cousin, so I don’t have the info handy) did you guys shorten your weight training and add cardio, or just add cardio to your schedule, I’m asking because I was doing GVT2K before I started FF, and am trying to stick with it while on FF, but I’m just wiped after the work out.

hey Patrick. I havent increased my cardio because I am involved in the martial arts…and that is more than enough cardio for me…what I suggest is some good bag work on a heavy bag…because I believe it is anerobic as well as aerobic…but that is just my opinion.

whats up folks? today is day one of the FF for me. So far, so good. Want to know if anyone is using 5-HTP during the FF, and if so does it really help with card cravings.

Day 9: down 13 pounds (193-180)! waist down to 32.8 from an original 36. Don’t know bf% as of now…I’ll keep you all updated.

tommyboy, will start using 5-HTP today, just got a bottle…I’ll let you know if it helps in a few days k? Anyone try mixing Crystal Light into their protein shakes? Sounds like it would make things tastier…God help me, I’m losing it!!!

I’ve been gearing up for the ff diet. I am using Scipro,myomax,md-6, tribex 500, and yes, taking md6 will ensure you drink enough water to piss like a race horse. Still on week one so I’m not hungry. I’m drinking 4 shakes 40G protein 30G fat(UDO’s)8 carbs with 1tbsp physillium. Two meals with 4oz steak 1 avacodo or chicken breast and avacado. I feel good.
I’ll keep you updated. Next week I drop 500 cals of fats from the diet.
