Eric
I just watched your 855 lbs x2 squat.
One word.
Amazing.
It looks like you may still be getting used to the briefs.
Cant wait to see what you can do in a suit.

Eric, can you pm me. I need to ask you a few questions that are off topic in this thread.
You don’t understand why people think your on steroids? People today tend to think anyone stronger than themselves are using steroids. Hell I remember when I benched 315 in 10th grade and everyone freaked out and said I must be using steroids. Your easily the strongest teenager I’ve ever heard of. Can you explain what separates the pro hormones from actual steroids though. I never researched steroids or anything related to it and have no clue what you have been talking about.

That thread will answer any question regarding PH’s.
To sum it up though.
The difference from PH’s and AAS isnt the big of one really.
PH’s are less powerfull and can have the exact same side effects ass AAS. PH’s have been less studied so no one is for sure the long term side effects of them.

Eric, I’ve been around powerlifting for a while and I have yet to see a young lifter with as much potential as you. I hope you stay with it for the long term. Should be fun to watch!

I see 1000 lbs squat in about 3 months.
Im calling it!!!
I just hope you stay injury free.
Question time.
So do those briefs force you to take a wider stance?.
Second. What does 800 + feel like on your back?.
ed coan:
“1000 pounds felt no different than 4,5,6,7,800 pounds on my back because you train to handle the weight” or something like that from powerlifting unlimited ![]()
el: do you think ph’s are dangerous as a 17 year old? wondering because all the football kids started taking them haha, i think its a load of crap for them since they have such inconsistint lifting and havent even tapped into their natural gains yet but no one will listen to me:( also curious for myself maybe the summer after senior but i definitely dont want to end up with low test levels etc… just wondering if you have experienced anything negative at all with your use.

haha yeah i think the chances of me getting injured on the squat are a lot more slim now since i’m using a little bit of gear. with the raw squats you really never know…things can be feeling great and something can go wrong out of nowhere. haha but 1000 would be fuckin badass…but for my meet coming up on june 27th, i’m hoping to squat like 940-950 on a last attempt there in just my brief belt and wraps so we’ll see how my training comes along over the next month. and yeah you have to go wide with the briefs…if you try going narrow you can’t go down and it will force your knees to go in. if you had like a narrow stance squat suit then it would be okay but i’m pretty sure these briefs and most of the others are made for wide stace squats so you can basically just sit back and try to force it down. ummm actually it just feels heavy lol. i can’t really tell a difference between 700 and 800…i’m used to it by now. my upper back has like a callas on it lol because i keep the bar high on my traps so i always have like brusing and stuff from heavy squats. but that one day i went up to 905 in the brief just out of no where…the most i had ever had on my back was 750 from when i got it for a PR when i was squating in just belt and wraps. the 905 felt heavy but it wasn’t like a crushing feeling lol. you know something isn’t right when it feels like the weight is just crushing you. i guess you just have to be confident and get under the bar and just stay tight. you have to control the weight and not like the weight control you.

I have a friend who does, and he invited me down to see what real powerlifters training looks like. I checked it out, dropped my jaw in amazement during a squat session when I saw Cartinian squat 940 (he’s a 181er), and then declined an invitation to train there. My school’s football program requires that we lift in the school weightroom for verification purposes. I am heading back down there Monday night for bench night though, and I hope to train there full time once I graduate high school.
