Enter Your BID For a T-Cell!

Actually, it isn’t. It is better to realize that we’ve been complaining about this for a very long time with very little support from any other members of this site in any other forums. Now, the moment that we come to a solution, EVERYONE has an opinion.

It is like showing up to the war after the battle has been fought and wondering why no one wants to hear you fire off a few rounds.

Just to clarify. Who came up with the T-cell idea?

Credit Tiribulus for being the one that started promoting the idea of a separate forum, even though he was pushing for a different one for all of the people clogging up the bodybuilding forum. Qaash is the one who pushed for the Dog Pound to come back (what we used to have a long time ago)…which is essentially what that T-Cell is.

Yeah, I guess the T-cell is a step towards the right direction. Maybe you guys can gather your full strength there and reconquer these lands?

Or is it the easy way out when it comes to avoiding trolls? I think the mods can do better than that.

But they didn’t…for years. I am honestly wondering where your voice was while we were dealing with this.

Why the sudden interest by so many in raising Statues of Liberty when there was so much silence for so long?
Maybe because freedom means that you might get some things many don’t like: freedom to be unemployed…freedom to go hungry…freedom to depend on no one but yourself…freedom to climb a mountain toward the peak and, even if you don’t make it, to gaze upon it.

What if, just if, some troll came up with some idea that sparked you to become Mr. Olympia? In your insulated T-Cell (and they are literally ‘cells’), you would never know it.

I prefer freedom to jail.

HH, the happy and free troll.

So we will then be accused of censorship…again?!

I think there can be some middle ground for this. I’m a member of a forum wherein stupid posts are not deleted, but are “marked” by the mods. The mods don’t edit what the guy said, but what they do is they add something at the bottom of his post that reminds everyone that the post is stupid. They even place warning labels to put the poster in his place. It looks something like this:
I like cheese.

Mod Edit: Spam. You’ve been warned
I think it could work here as well.

I think the T-Nation readers are bright enough that they don’t need a mod to warn them that a post is stupid.

Oh, my beautiful, sweet, hot, sexy Mod Laurie. You are not that naive. Change your post to say, “I think a majority of the T-Nation readers…” and you would be correct.

There are some members here that couldn’t pour piss out of a boot if the instructions were located on the heel.

But this in no way takes away from your hotness.

But it could put the stupid poster in his place, even humiliate him. After all, it worked in that forum. I’m only suggesting.

At least you keep your trolling in the off topic forums, where it can be amusing.

Surely it is up to us,the members to put the stupid in their place and humiliate them if need be?

I don’t think that it should fall on the mods to do that ,at all.

RJ, are you flirting with a moderator or looking for a favor?

You’re right…I should’ve said “majority” of T-Nation readers.

My absolute pleasure,Mod Laurie.

lol@people getting into T-Cell Alpha who have been here a month. I already hate it.

Anyway, let’s go back on topic.

I’d like propose a T-Cell BETA. Everybody’s a part of it, but as soon as you start ruining it, you’re voted out. Kinda like a middle ground between T-Cell Alpha and the regular forums. Haha…

How about removing rate my physique? Theres already a physique and performance photos section. Rate My Physique just seems to be attracting alot of people who post there first, then never post again. And I know Ive only had an account for six months now, but Ive lurked for a year and a half before that and I gotta say, its a joke.

If anything there should be a duplicate T-cell for every performance forum besides beginners section. Like a t-cell for powerlifters who have proven they know what there talking about in the regular strength sports section. And so on. Just my opinion. Peace out.

The whole idea of rate my physique was to keep people out of ther regular forums, I believe. And it’s worked quite well. The amount of 150lb guys looking to cut in the physique and performance photo section has declined significantly.

What’s the jazz with renaming it just the “performance photos” section now…? Considering current goings on it would almost appear that “physique” photos are a suitable thing to post in there anymore cos of the name change!!

That’s because they all starved to death!

Undeadlift, I was thinking about a T-cell BETA as well…but I didn’t want to be the first to say it.

Why not?
