How about a T-Cell for Southern Powerlifting or Teen Powerlifting. Or even one for Teen Bodybuilding for that matter.

Well, if you’re an attractive female you have sex with me. If your not attractive, or a guy, then your sister/mother/gf/wife/female friend has sex with me.

Yes, a UK T-cell would be ideal.
Is that because the location of your strange country (with terrible rugby players) changes the way you lift weights? Lol I don’t think we need localized forums.

ALSO: I liked having logs in strength sports. I understand moving the 45234534x rippetoes logs (excep tthedudeabides, his should be stickied in beginners and mandatory reading material before posting about the routine) into a different forum, but some of us want our logs to be seen and commented on by our fellow competeing and noncompeteing athletes, I’ve gotten A LOT of good advice in that thread, and I don’t foresee there being anyone but myself really reading it in the logs forum.
My chief grievance with the new forum too being honest…

Now, having a T-Cell for “Women” wouldn’t make a good T-Cell. It’s too general. However, having one for “Left-Handed Female Powerlifters from Milwaukee” might work.
Hey, have you been peeking in my private files? (I’m left-handed and I was born in Milwaukee. Although, with a deadlift PR of 215, I don’t quite think I’m qualified as a powerlifter. Not YET.)

I actually like the single t-cell and personally would like it to remain on it’s own before it gets a little brother or sister.

The reason being it gives people that have been around for awhile to talk about there work outs and compare ideas and ideally they would have a background in lifting for a number of years.

For myself i rather read a forum posts of people abusing each other and giving reasons of why one work out is better then another then reading article written by the pros who really know there shit but just lack the ability to keep it simple enough for it to get to the every day readers.

I also like knowing that those forum threads would be free of people saying things like “there is no need to work legs you can do that with cardio”

I’m not a t-cell member but i do read and will be reading to the threads so kinda like a stalker watching you posters get changed.

I don’t mind the hardcore bodybuilders having their own forum and, although I’m not one, I’m sympathetic to their plight. It’s like when I’m doing a hard track workout and a some fat middle aged walker comes waddling into my lane during a sprint. I don’t necessary think any more T-Cells are necessary, but, as long as we’re going to have them, I would suggest one for speed training.
What about an Over 50 T-Cell? The older guys could talk without the young-uns making ridiculous remarks about the fact at 57 or 59 you probably aren’t benching 350 pounds…

Thanks

It sounds as though it would discourage input. It sounds elitist

You may be surprised.
Just put the Over 35 Forum back the way it was.

TC howabout one for women?

E-Cell Omega

E is for Estrogen.

Omega, from the Greek Alphabet. The word literally means “great O”. That which all women seek!

OK, I’m kinda joking about the name but I do like E-Cell rather than T-Cell for us women.

For women who like to lift heavy which is anything that is not plastic coated and colored. Doesn’t matter who, what, where, when how or why they lift. Free weights, children, kettle balls, machines, general fitness, bodybuilding, mma, crossfit, powerlifting, whatever. Those things can be topics within the E-Cell. For the sake of sharing and educating not judging and criticizing. Hopefully : )

You mean, like the Muscle Sorority Forum that already exists?

Me too, takes the point out of having it online. Might as well use a notebook. I think getting rid of the Training Logs Forum should be the first thing done.

Similar but different. More like Powerful Women actually. Muscle Sorority is over at MWA which has a target audience of Fitness and Figure. I have T-Nation bookmarked not MWA. I find far more information that is useful to me over here so this is where I spend my time.

I relate far more to this side than the other but do not really feel all that welcome in the forums as a female. Would be nice to have a cell for like minded women over here.

Dude, you can see the Muscle Sorority in the options under “Customize”. That means it is here as well.

How about a T-Cell for arseholes, just like me, one where there you can argue and tell people to stick their head where the sun don't shine.

Its all very polite over in the T-Cell Alpha, hope some of the long term posters won't lose their fangs, don't paticularly like the concept but hey hopefully it will work out, i just like a little blood on the floor, reminds me of being home.

Did I miss something or maybe I did not make my point clearly. My point was more about content than location. I was merely pointing out the difference in content between Testosterone and MWA. I am aware of MWA, Muscle Sorority, and Powerful Women. Thanks for pointing it out to me. A Cell for women would still be nice. A cell is different. That’s all. TC made a request and I responded. : )

2nd the Asshole T-Cell

Some type of troll t-cell is a great idea actually…if there were some way to lure them to a t-cell and get them out of the general population if you will, I think we would have a winner. There are several members who are qualified to host it too - most of them have less than 100 posts, but some upwards of 500, so I’m not sure of the exact selection criteria…maybe if you’re invited to be in the troll t-cell you will either participate or get the hint that that is the only place that you are welcome. Just a thought.
