Your logic has no place here.

Perfectly acceptable.
It’s been said but when newbies have training logs it’s generally a waste of time because no one can learn anything from the way the train and there tends to be a whole stack of experts who come in and try to “help” them.
That being said, I do pay attention to a number of training logs typically by guys who are much more experienced than me. What they do isn’t necessarily groundbreaking stuff, but it’s motivating to see (ok, read of) people train hard and heavy day in, day out.

Need many, many pics to decide.
Not exactly a blog but I would love to see how some of the folks schedule their day.
Jen Heath did a post once where she detailed exactly how she scheduled her day from rising, to gym, to each meal, and bed. You got to see how she worked her schedule to accomodat what she had to get done.
My only thing with that is, she is a fitness professional so she isn’t having to go to the gym at 4:30am to hurry home and blow dry hair and put on make up and a business suit and then rush to an office job.
There are folks who work two jobs who fit in training. Folks who work full time and go to school, and fit in training. And then the majority of us who work 9 to 5, full time, with families or spouses or significant others and we work things in.
I would love to see how you guys do that. Especially the folks that are eating 6 to 7 meals a day.
here is a schedule I am considering:
4:30am get up
4:45am at gym
5:30am leave gym
5:45am shower
6:00am get ready for work
7:00am leave for work
7:30am breakfast
10:00am snack
12:30pm lunch
3:00pm snack
5:30pm dinner
7:00pm at gym
8:00pm home from gym
8:30pm shower & snack
9:00pm bed
Yah yah yah… I know I know…
But show me what you do. Give me some ideas.
I want to learn.

I don’t have a set schedule since the end of December; I’m in a state of flux at the moment (and subsequently, my nutrition/training/recovery are out of whack), but this is the schedule I followed prior to the upheaval:
Mon, Tue, Thu:
330am: get up; take a serving of Power Drive; get dressed (gym clothes); start warm-up (exercises from Magnificent Mobility and Inside Out DVDs)
350am: take one scoop of Surge; drive to gym
510am: back home; take PWO shake (Surge, Power Drive, creatine); shower; get dressed for work
630am: breakfast #1; get to work around 730am
900am: breakfast #2
1200pm: lunch #1
300pm: lunch #2
545pm: get home from work; eat dinner
6-7pm: various activities (stretch, ride bike, etc.)
730pm: take ZMA
830pm: Metabolic Drive shake; Flameout; go to bed
On Saturday, gym time is roughly 8-9am, followed by PWO shake and a contrast shower. Remainder of the day varies; eating every three hours. Sunday is a recovery/food prep day.

What if you just wear a bikini/thong while you are updating your log?
Is that okay?

If you don’t want to see Beginner threads or Bodybuilding threads, maybe just uncheck them in your preferences?
Rykker thank you! Man that 3:30am in the morning seems brutal! I guess you can get used to anything though.
I don’t mind getting up early when I have to, but 3:30am is night, not morning!
sen say… while not really helpful, at least entertaining.
Dudeabides! see that was what I was saying!

Not helpful ??? wtf ?!? You think YOU gotta busy lifestyle girly? Sheesh…I pass along the keys to ‘gettin’ it done’ and…‘not very helpful’…sheesh…
OG…lemme just tell you that I still want to help you (and not just entertain) therefore I am providing this update on how a busy person handles his/her schedule when unforseen circumstances arise…
Basically, I just remembered that today is kickboxing class day in the ol’ fitness center and that’s when the cute girls show up in the gym. SO…the class is at 12:00…so…I like to get to the gym right around 11:40 so I’m doing my weighted pullups when the cuties show up…this causes them to instantly swoon…which is a good thing…so…I’m adjusting my 9:00 breakfast #2 to 10:00…I ate a Metabolic Drive bar at 9:00…I’ll sip Surge at 11:10 and basically push everything else back a half hour…unless a couple of the kickboxing girls want to head over to the holiday inn…then I’ll probably just say ‘to hell’ with the diet and training.
I really, truly hope this helps (rather than just entertains…still hurts to say it) as you never know when you might be in the same, exact situation.

well… thanks.
If anyone else who really does have a busy schedule and still works their training in posts, I would really appreciate them posting the schedule.
although this probably should be its own thread.

Yeah, there was a certain madness in my method, but it served several purposes.
** I didn’t have to fight morning traffic on the way to or from the gym.
** I was usually one of only five or six people in the gym at that time, and the only one in the free-weight area – no crowd; no distractions; no competition for the weights.
** I could get my workout, shower, and breakfast in and still get to work early enough (while still missing the traffic rush) to have a little quiet time before the madness began.
** I didn’t have to go to the gym irritable after a long day at work and trip over a throng of loud, clueless people in order to get a decent workout.
But I have enough of my own equipment now that I can get a full workout at home, so I haven’t been to the gym in awhile.
