Tell her about fish scales.

:man_shrugging:t2:. I don’t know about fish scales. What do you mean?

I have no idea, officer.

I live very near Yellowstone and Grand Teton. People still approach the wild life. People still get tossed into lodgepole pine by bison. The circle of life.

My uncle caught a hammerhead shark years ago, and had the thing mounted. As a 5 year old kid, my uncles shark above the pool table was the pinnacle of awesome

I think just your Monday and Wednesday leg workouts as I laid out would be sufficient. If you’re too concerned with drop in volume, you can always add a set to each exercise.

And yes I dropped adductors also. I basically recommended dropping all isolation exercises to focus strictly on compound movements. Think of it as off-season versus in-season training. Abduction and adduction are great to build in the off-season, but in-season any isolation movement that singles out fatiguing one small muscle group can just increase chance of performance degradation or worse–injury. As an extreme example to highlight my point, imagine in the morning doing a hamstring curls monster drop set and getting a crippling pump in your hamstrings. Now imagine trying to run sprints later in the day. :grimacing:

got it

How you hear this:

Monday
Legs morning

Tuesday
Back morning & run afternoon

Wednesday
Legs morning

Thursday
Shoulders morning & run afternoon

Friday
Off

Saturday
Run

Sunday off

Or should i plan it another way cause my legs dont have a proper resting period between weights and run so as not to risk injury?

Hmmm, legs with just one day between seems tough. Maybe this?

M: legs
Tu: back + run (middle distance focus)
W: off
Th: shoulders + run (sprint focus)
F: legs
Sa: run (long distance focus)
Su: off

R you some kind of genius? :face_with_raised_eyebrow:

Thank you for the approach i think i will do this, i am so obsessed with my previous program, which the truth is im following like some kind if ritual for years, even with the hours, i cant change them,i feel strange and that im off goal, that i cant think something different, i have in my mind that taking two days off in a row is the best for me and always kept the weekends off. Its time to try something new…

Couldn’t be more grateful to you for taking the time and helping me with my biggest concern…
I will do the exercises you listed, follow the program and hope for the best!
You rock!!! :pinched_fingers:t2::pinched_fingers:t2::pinched_fingers:t2::pinched_fingers:t2::pinched_fingers:t2::pinched_fingers:t2::pinched_fingers:t2::pinched_fingers:t2::pinched_fingers:t2::pinched_fingers:t2::pinched_fingers:t2:

I’m really glad you liked my suggestions. It’s great that you’re really committed to the gym, but I get it. Sometimes we can get too attached to a particular program or style of training. It’s good to get an outside perspective sometimes, as you’ve done here. It feels like you’re on the right track. If you’re open to it, you could start a training log on these forums and you’ll continue to get some of the members jumping in from time to time following along and supporting you where you have questions. And of course, we can learn from you as well. Your training goal is not that common, so I’m interested in following along.

To tell you the truth im intending to post if i have any other question, because i really appreciate the fact that there are people with knowledge, and have the courtesy to advise.

If you don’t have a problem, you can email me your ig account and i will add you.
i use it mostly for the gym stuff.
Thank you again for helping me and taking the time for my questions… it means a lot!

I actually do not have any social media accounts. I’m happy to help here though with any future questions.

I have such a disdain lol. And we’re actually seeing the effects now with kids who grew up on it.

Yeah I’m the same. I only had Facebook years ago but got rid of it on 2016-17 or so. All it did was show me how narcissistic most people are. It’s completely useless IMO.
Some of my friend have two or three different accounts. They waste their whole day on that shit. No thanks

Its a great tool when used properly but also lends a platform to every window licking attention whoring cretin out there

@marine77
I cant agree more on this. Its how we use everything that makes the difference.

So you are the one that have been in LE and can offer insider advice on the topic right?

I dont think its the kids to blame, rather than the useless parents that dont have a clue how to raise them.
