For the past week I have been getting bruised feet. I noticed my legs near my feet are swollen. Also when I walk or stand for a bit my heal and ball of my of either feet are sore like I have been standing on them all day. Of course after work they feel bruised and they are red. I sit at a desk mostly so its not from being on them.
Oh and my socks low or high cut, dig right into my legs. Not an issue just weird.
Anyone else get this?
I seen a Dr and he said its from working out. I kinda rolled my eyes, (typical Dr blame the gym). He said I need to drink more water and not over heat so much and not workout so hard in the gym.
Could he be right?
Dr’s suggested also to go home put the feet up and eat advil. It helped a bit but its still happening more or less. But I suspended workouts for 2 days as well.
Jonz’n for more gym time but I don’t know what to do from here.
Any pics of the swelling?
There are tons if causes for pedal edema. It could be from your feet taking a pounding during workouts, swelling is a natural reaction by the body when an injury is present.
It could also be from a fluid imbalance, cirrhosis, CHF or a blood clot.

No I don’t have pics. It’s actually looking a bit better today. Now it looks like a normal foot accept the redness on the bottom of foot and soreness. The edema is close to being gone too.
My normal workout schedule is 6 days a week. With cardio done 2 to 3 times. If that helps. 2 days without working out is making me …ummm grumpy
