dragging alternatives

im looking for innovative ways to incorporate dragging into my workouts.

I live a fair distance from my local sportsfield, and have no car :(, so carrying a sled and 45lbs plates there is a little difficult.

anyone have any suggestions for alternatives, i already have a few suggestions taken from the throwers forum…

1: attaching heavy chains to the ankles
2: dragging a car (but i live in a busy neighbourhood so not sure that will go down well)
3: dragging a tyre (but again thats hard to transport)

any other suggestions??

try a wheel-barrow.

why not drag the sled down the sidewalk in front of where you live. I’m sure the looks you would get would be priceless. Nothing beats looking like the cracy neighbor

Thats what I’m talkin about. Freak your neighbors out… just drag that shit around your house or somewheres close.

I drag in my small yard. All you need is a small patch of grass or a long driveway. I’ll do 25-30 paces, then turn around. Other GPP stuff I do from time to time are band GM’s and light DB step-ups for time.

maybe you could leave the tyre at the nearest field, just leave it out of theway (ie behind a fence or something). i doubt anyone will steal a tyre…
just an idea…

i like sledgehammer gpp per dr. mike…of course, it requires a big ass tire as well…
