Dieting with Shelby

Started Feb 9th @ 226, now @ 190.

What the hell, I will throw up an updated pic and stats. Pics are from saturday 2 weeks since my last cheat meal and 3 weeks of dieting on 35/15 carbs.

6 months in. Nothing off of schedule still, other than the skipping of a few meals when we first started. Not even extra peanut butter, I always dig out the extra 4 grams that fell into my bowl and put it back in the jar :frowning:

Notable stats
Weight - 225.8 to 190.2
Ab skin fold - 38.5mm to 13mm.
Stomach circumference - 38.75 to 33.75

Update…

im in my 12th (last) week, doing the 0-carbs w/ a cheat meal at the end of the week, also cycling fats now

starting weight was about 206 (w/ carbs)and last weeks weigh in was 195 (w/ out carbs)

im still not as lean as i want to be so i guess ill just keep going on my own

I guess you realised from 3 month plan, theres no secrets to fat loss, just hard work? Thats what I have learnt. Now I find myself never reading through fat loss articles that promise stuff.

Sorry to hear. I was the same way.

But I still got like 10 months to go with Shelby so more progress will come.

im surprised i didnt lose more fat but ill keep going… only thing is i go back to school sept 1 and there’s no way ill be able to keep this up AND keep up with all the work.

also, i cant even think about hiring shelby again until i get all my books

Thanks for the update guys! Is everyone constantly carrying around their food with them? Or just planning around being at x location at x time? I’m pretty good with things, but it seems that I would be very anal about things if I was paying for a service like this(not like thats a bad thing).

I work 9-5 in an office, so i just bring it to work and put it in the fridge then microwave it when i’m ready.

Napalmit- yep. Pretty much. I take my food with me on the weekends in a cooler. I am very anal about it. I don’t want to have any regrets when my 12 months are up. Even though sometimes I don’t agree with the way Shelby does things. I still paid him to do it his way. And I put full faith in that. It’s a bitch, but so is never reaching your goals.

Beau - do you have access to a microwave all the time or do you eat food cold? (meets, veges etc)

If I won’t be near a microwave I take a bowl of tuna and green beans or a simple shake. I have also just eaten cold chicken and potatos. Back when I used to actually get carbs… LOL…

Do you get fibrous carbs now? Or none at all, just protein and fat?

Unless you are self employed and make your own hours or follow the exact same schedule with no surprises you will need to carry food.

My cooler will typically have 4 meals that I’d prefer to microwave and what I’d like to eat, and then 2-3 “backup” meals like a tuna pouch or portioned out protein powder. They generally just sit in my cooler until I need them in some sort of out of the ordinary happens. I’ll take cold ground beef and broccoli over tuna any day lol

Yeah, I carry my food into work everyday and leave it in the fridge.

I get some really strange looks and comments when im eating chicken and sweet potato at 10am!
