Deal with Eminem Wannabe's?

I’d rather see kids lean and fit than fat and lazy. The attitude of some of these kids needs to change. But nothing a good shot in the head won’t cure.

What are you, the Borg? (with robotic voice) “Must assimilate…”

No, just someone noticing that you happen to be the one throwing up boundaries, not anyone else. You are the one who feels a need to protest bodybuilding because you claim to have different goals. It really doesn’t matter if you have trained twice as long as I have if the results are not there to show it. We all understand that everyone on this site has different goals…but it is all related to bodybuilding. It seems that you all are protesting because you want to justify lack of progress. That begs the question, “why are you here?”.[/quote]

You will have to excuse me Pro X, but IMO Testosterone Nation has morphed. Only the owner I believe TC could dispute the matter. I think T-Nation is now a Physical Training Think tank.

Is there some reason you keep following me around? Do I have Alpo dog treats hanging out of my back pocket?

TC wrote the following from this article:

“Just remember, we’re primarily a site about building muscle, strong and functional muscle that makes us look badass and be badass.”

While I HATE his use of the word “functional”, I think that sums it up. Everyone knows there are people with different goals on this site. However, this is still primarily a BODYBUILDING THINK TANK. Why does this hurt some of you so much?

Do you have a problem to me responding to your posts? If you do not want me to respond to any of your posts say so and I will desist.I personally have no problems with you or your posts. I do think you could use some lessons in manners. I personally have no pain.
The article that TC wrote was about movies portraying super heroes and not being up to the task physically, not that this was body building site.
I agree that this site is more about building muscle to be strong and functional. We do not disagree??

You ask ANY BBR out there and anyone who has been training longer than a few years.

The BEST anabolic by far is good clean food.
Wish I figured out how important diet was 10 years ago.

We should rename the site…" T-Nation, the functional muscle to be a strong metro sexual that weighs less than 190 with a 6 pack THINK TANK!"

All things considered, interesting debate going here.

i see the same stuff here too. i l,ive in a small college town, and most of the guys at the gym i train at bomb the hell ou of there upper bodies, and basically do nothing but treadmill and basket ball for there legs. i get a huge crowd watching me when i am squating with over 400lbs, and pulling over 500lbs. at Diablo Barbell, the girls are doing that.

now i am not hating. i admit when it is time to take the shirt off at the beach and show off to the girls, i would much rather look like these kids, despite my accomplishments in the strength game, to most i look pretty much like a fatty.

Oh man, the kid that inspired this thread has been at the gym almost every day for the last month, i have yet to see him do ANYTHING to his legs.

This bothers me too, because all the other eminems in the gym are now asking eminem how to get their arms to look like his. The kid now has 3 followers…

You never can neglect your wheels, sooner or later, you will be playing catch up, might as well get em done now.

Better late than never bro.

What about being a mean strong mofo and look good while you take your shirt off? It can be done bro. I dont know anything about you but I am sure with the right diet and program you can see the same strength results and look diesel on the beach.

“Methinks he doth protest too much.”

If he would have learned to capitalize he would have scored an 800.

Does it piss any of the other old guys off that todays SATs are graded more leniently thus intentionally inflating the scores?

well the 690 was good enough for me to get in to every school i applied and get scholarships. i was not aware of inflated SAT scores.

What up Zap. I don’t know anything about inflating scores. I do think it is rather funny that he boasts about a 690. That means when I took it in 1995 after first coming to the US, I actually scored higher than him and English is my third language.

You got some nerve young blood, I will give you that. It takes a big man, or a bigmike rather, to call me a prick on an on-line board.

Its actually quite sad b/c I have helped many young kids on this site get a headstart in the BB game. Its too bad you are such a fucking idiot, you could have actually learned something.

Now go squeeze out a few zits or something, you are really starting to become annoying.

The test scoring was initially scaled to make 500 the mean score on each section with a standard deviation of 100. As the test grew more popular and more students from less rigorous schools began taking the test, the average dropped to about 450 for each section. Various attempts to balance out this decline led to complex statistical anomalies.

For example, in certain years it was impossible to get a score of 780 or 790 on a section; one could only get a 770 or below or an 800. To combat the trend toward declining scores, the SAT was “recentered” in 1995, and the average score became again closer to 500. All scores awarded after 1994 are officially reported with an “R” (e.g. 1260R) to reflect this change.

In 2005, the test was changed again, in response to various criticisms. Because of issues concerning ambiguous questions, especially analogies, certain types of questions were eliminated (the analogies disappeared altogether). The test was made marginally harder, as a corrective to the rising number of perfect scores.

A new writing section was added, in part to increase the chances of closing the opening gap between the highest and midrange scores. Other factors included the desire to test the writing ability of each student in a personal manner; hence the essay. The New SAT (officially the SAT Reasoning Test) was first offered on March 12, 2005, after the last administration of the “old” SAT, the 1994 revision, in January of that year.

It isn’t so.

God, I hope you were freaking joking.
