Yeah, I see that often in guys who ignore triceps work to focus more on biceps. It is usually a muscle imbalance that causes that. I remember mine used to do that when I first started training. It stopped when I started training RIGHT.
I saw yoou replied to me and braced myself for a drop curl joke.
You’re right though, I’ve only this year started doing actual arm work. I figure its one of those overuse things from all the pulling people towards me.
I was being completely straight up. I ONLY see that in guys who mostly only train biceps or ignore direct work for BOTH muscle groups.
Since January I’ve actually followed through with arm work on both Bi’s and Tri’s. So in total, my direct arm work is only 7 months. I’d normally blow offmy arm days toally up until last winter. Its gotten a lot better since I’ve started treating my arms like muscles and not “hooks”.
WTF dude, why does everyone fuck with you so much? lol Like, I’ve made a few Prof jokes but actually attacking you? Holy Hell!!!
I had the same thing man, I wrestled for a long ass time. While my arms didnt make it look like i had ILS, i just looked like a jackass with fucked up arms. I started crushing my triceps and my arms look a shit load better. Did you wrestle heavyweight?
Yeah, i started at 215 and made it to 275 SR year. HW was raised to 285 in my state which was awesome.

I hope no one minds if I interrupt the bickering and interject with a serious anatomical statement, hopefully with some discussion to follow…
Nobodies arm is going to hang straight. Everyone will have a slight bend at the elbow when their arm is hanging relaxed. I don’t care how much Biceps or Triceps work one does or doesn’t do. If the anatomical structure of the elbow joint is undamaged, that is the way it will be. If you do nothing but Triceps work you will still have this slight bend. If you do nothing but biceps work you will still be able to straighten your arm if you choose too as long as there is no structural damage to the elbow joint.
Clears up a lot. Thanks man.
A 45 degree bend in the arm isn’t THAT ridiculous for someone who has strong biceps, but doesn’t have the triceps to match, especially if we’re talking about during/immediately following a session. Just sayin’. Of course, I’m not talking about people with sub 16" arms.

These guys are just drying their underarms. The syndrome is an urban myth.
My wingspan is like 9 inches shorter than my height. I have short little t-rex arms and this happens to me all the time. Everyone makes fun of me… also, my thoracic mobility isn’t the greatest.
But I don’t give a shit, because both of my arms work. If this is the worst thing that happens to me in my life, I think I’ll be ok.

What the hell did I diagnose?
I said most of the guys with these issues have bad posture. I have no clue what is wrong with the guy who claimed his elbows stick out and won’t without seeing him.
Ct. Rock’s lack of elbow mobility based on his “not working his tri’s” enough. I was just pointing out something I thought was ironic, not saying you were wrong.

“Lack of elbow mobility”? WTF? Who said he couldn’t straighten out his arm? We are talking about when at rest not some “lack of mobility” or whatever the hell you came up with. You are the one trying to diagnose some type of disorder by even assuming this is a “problem of mobility” as if he has a tendon injury or something.
A lot of you seem to spend more time trying to find fault with every fucking thing written instead of what’s right.

No, it’s the itchy, stingy, fungal growth on their underarms that’s the problem ![]()

I think that this is the British culture lol.
Anything other than good manners/politeness, being soft with discipline etc is perceived as hostile.
I believe that when the Romans invaded England, it must have gone something like this:
English man: Who’s there?
Roman soldier: Arggg, let me in! pushes past
English man: Oh, sorry, please do come in…would you like a cup of tea?
Roman soldier: proceeds to rape English man’s wife
English man: Erm…excuse me fellow, I don’t mean to be terribly rude, but could you kindly please stop doing that?
Yes it is ridiculous. After training is different than what we are talking about. You train Bis and get them all pumped up the engorgement of blood will increase the muscle tension and increase the angle somewhat. Maybe it would go from 15 to 25 degrees. What X & I are talking about is cold, hanging relaxed at the side. A 45 degree angle would be a condition called LGAS or Lookitmy Ginormous Arms Syndrome. Which of course is the bastard 2nd cousin to ILS.
Guys, don’t fight over me.
Let’s hear more about Prof’s cock…um, for PMPM…yeah, for her.
Hell, let’s hear about PMPM’s dick. She’s the type of woman that could be hot with a cock.
And No, I will nawt say no homo…sick of you fickers making me feel weird for liking trannies.
