I recently had bloodwork done, and the doctor found higher than normal levels of creatinine, and is worried about kidney disease, so I am off to see a specialist. Anyway, I have read that weight training will increase the natural levels of creatinine. But how much, is 1.7 too high? The doctor has me cycling off of my supplements, including protein, until more bloodwork is done, and until I see the specialist. As I am in canada, the doctors here are not exacly pro supplementaion, so I want to know what is going on, and be able to ask the right questions. As for supplements, I have been taking CRE2, Alpha Male, 6OXO, and protien. Could any of these effect kidneys, or creatinine levels? Also how much will Alpha Male increase Albumin?
I had similar results. My doc said it was likely to be a little dehydrated…in addition to the high protein diet.
don’t worry…the same report also reported my (bad) cholesterol was TOO LOW
This was part of a life insurance policy, and outlined “normal” ranges.
