Is there any negative effects super setting the programs alternating exercises, if hypertrophy is the goal?
If I wanted you to superset the exercises I would have wrote the exercises as a superset. I believe that with the philosophy used with the program (increasing size by getting stronger) alternating sets are better.
If you really want to do supersets then you will have to extend the rest interval between sets.
For example maybe the program calls forā¦
B1. Exercise 1
Rest 75-90 sec
B2. Exercise 2
Rest 75-90 sec
If you want to superset it would look like this:
B1. Exercise 1
Rest 10-15 sec
B2. Exercise 2
Rest 2-3 min
