Is there any actually good exercises in Combat Conditioning I should follow?
There are many excellent exercises in there. However, read the book in the book store, then put it back - Furey is a bullshit artist and a conman.
You can find every exercise in the book online for free.
I’d agree. Write down the exercises, then google them-you’ll actually find that Furey just put the easiest versions in the book, so he can sell you the more advanced versions in his “Inner Circle”. However, you can get the more advanced versions on hundreds of free websites.
I’d third that. There exercises are sweet but you can find descriptions online for free.
Don’t listen to these loosers…ONLY MY EXERCISES WILL MAKE YOU HUGE, THEY ARE ONLY WEAK BODYBUILDERS, WEAK!!! I FOUND THOSE SECRET EXERCISES IN FUCKING INDIA DO YOU HEAR ME - SOME BLIND OLD DUDE WITH A LONG WITHE BEARD SHOWED THEM TO ME AND NOW I AM SO FUCKING STRONG THAT I CAN ONLY TYPE CAPITAL LETTERS…ARRRRGGGG…
No, actually I fourth what was mentioned…just type bodyweight exercises into google and you will find plenty of stuff.
Look up Ross Enamait, and check out his book “Infinite Intensity”. It’s good stuff.
What is in Infinite Intensity and is John Wood a good person to buy some books from?
1- Furey is a c$cks*cker, don’t you dare give him your hard-earned money
2- You can find all his materials for free if you know where to look hint:it starts with lime
3- I’ve heard great thing about Ross, but haven’t seen his stuff
4-Yes, all his exercises can easilt be found online. In fact, i think he has descriptions on his site
5- Do a search next time

I’m surprised how much smack you guys are talking. Furey trains several MMA fighters, has won Olympic Gold, has won several Chinese Shaiu Championships, has made millions as a Calithenics Guru, and has tens of thousands of students.
If you can do 300 Hindu Squats, 300 Hindu Push-Ups, and Full Nose bridges, then you are in the same company as Chuck Liddell, the Shamrocks, and the Special Ops Groups of the U.S. military.
one of the most amazing books i ever read about combat conditioning is called Conditioning for Capoeria (i think) its mostly body weight training but its an incredible resource. Take what u want from it, or what u need, and use that.
There is also some book, complete conditioning for martial arts, that i have looked at, but its just a basic book, nothing really specific.
I believe that Ken Shamrocks lastest book is also about conditioning and combat drills. i think the title is beyond the lions den…

What fucking Olympics? The special olympics? Jesus Christ, he was a good Div II college wrestler, that’s it. The closest he ever came to the Olympics is training under Dan Gable. And he used weights while he wrestled. Bodyweight exercises are great for conditioning, but Christ don’t get sucked into his marketing bullshit.
