Great to hear! I can relate. Congratulations on your success thus far man.
Stick with your coach and make some real progress while progress can still be had. He is 100% correct.
Spend a few years working on size and strength, you won’t regret it.
Your coach is giving you the same(good) advice most of the bigger vets on this site would tell you -stick with it.

Unrelated to the original question, but your shoulders and traps are far more developed than every other aspect of your training. If you try to bring up the rest to match those, they you will already have a pretty decent base to work with.
x2 I would drop shrugs/direct trap work for a while -overshadows rest of your upper body

Was it Vince Giruda who said all kinds of mean stuff to Arnold?
No, it was Vince Gironda.
Arnold: “I’m Arnold Schwarzenegger from Austria and I’m Mr. So and So.”
Vince: “You’re just a fat you-know-what.”
Awesome Iron Game history lesson! Thanks for the clarification! Young guys, take note.
Have any of you veterans out there given any young kid the big fish, small pond speech?
Also,
Remember that scene in Rocky 2, where they’re training Rocky to fight orthodox, and Rocky has one arm tied down, training his jab?
Mick: Punch it, till it HUTRZ! 500 times!
Rock: I wanna use my other arm
Mick: YOU DO, AND I"LL CHOP IT AWWFF!
I couldn’t find the clip anywhere.

Yeah, old Vince was the Honey Badger of bodybuilding and coaching. He was pretty bad-ass, and he just did not give a shit.
Funny that you should bring up Rocky, because Vince and Rocky were definitely on the same page concerning consumption of raw eggs.
Although if Vince were Rocky’s coach, he’d have given Rocky shit about not consuming enough raw eggs. If I recall, Rock only cracked five or six into that glass. Vince suggested gulping down several dozen throughout the day.
“Eating thirty-six raw, fertilised eggs a day,” Vince said, “is as effective in building muscle as Dianabol.”
I don’t know about that, but I’m not about to test the hypothesis.
Incidentally, if you have any desire at all to try it, don’t eat the whites of the eggs raw. It interferes with the body’s utilisation of biotin, which can cause skin and hair problems. Cook the whites at least until they are no longer transparent. The yolks, of course can be eaten raw. Rinse the eggs before you crack them, and don’t worry about salmonella or cholesterol.
Remember, if you don’t eat egg yolks, you’re racist!
