Chest Congestion

I just finished doing an over-training workout for the past 3 weeks that’s been posted on here before (I can’t seem to find it again) and it seems that during my off week to recover, my chest feels unusually heavy and has that congested feeling.

Plus I get out of breath just climbing the stairs, and I’m just a 17-year old. Is this normal after an overtraining workout or did i screw up somewhere?

The program apparently did what it was designed to do - overtrain you. I’ve had the same symptoms in the past when doing routines like that. You’ll get over it.

I think Poliquin wrote the program you’re on and you need to remember that he deals pretty much exclusively with highly developed athletes. Beginners/regular people should pick a program that is designed for long term gain.

except I stretched mine to 3 weeks

This is the first paragraph of the article:

----Honestly, you don’t have the balls to use the advanced training principles I’m about to outline in this article. This training method usually only works with elite, coached athletes ?? athletes forced into the gym and driven into the ground by a hard-driving international level coach.----

Are you an elite athlete? Then why would you use this method?

well, no I’m not really an elite athlete, but I just thought it looked like a great program so I decided to hit it.

Agreed with mwyatt. Find a more appropriate program to meet your goals for certain.
