I think everyone has to do their own risk/ benefit analysis. What are your goals and what are the trade-offs? What can/ do you want to do that still falls within your doctor’s advice? Do you even care if you have jacked legs? Is he concerned about you developing a DVT? Maybe cycling would actually improve circulation while giving you some leg work (this is not me offering advice; it’s a question potentially worth asking)?

Yes, tight legs are a priority for me. I’ve always had them pretty good, but I’ve lost my form due to lack of training.
