Bought my first pair of knee wraps yesterday and put them on to see how they feel. Since then my right calf has been hurting and even more so when I go into a squat position almost feels like I pulled something. Anyway I cant find anything about this online and was wondering if anyone could shed some light on this for me.
Sounds like you may be compressing the nerve and/or circulation to your lower extremity. How tight are you wearing your knee wraps? Try squatting without the wraps or loosening them up enough to where you don’t notice any symptoms and then progressively reintegrate the wraps in with the ‘necessary tension’ you feel comfortable with.
how low do you use your knee wraps? i’ve had the problem when i started using them and didn’t know how low to wrap them
Problem was quickly solved since i started to wrap from below my knee cap
