Buying a Foam Roller (Locally)

I didn’t know where to post this, but I am trying to start Max Strength (Cressey’s book) tomorrow … just got the book Wednesday, and I need to get a foam roller for the warm up and soft tissue work. Instead of waiting a week for shipping, does anyone know of any local stores where I would be able to pick one up? Thank you.

Target has them for like $30.

If you have a Michaels Arts and Crafts store, I hear you can get them there for a few bucks.

Sports Authority maybe too.

I got mine at a place called busy body fitness. Don’t know if they exist in Indiana, but any comparable store that sells fitness machines to middle aged house wives, will probably have a foam roller.

Home depot will sell 4" PVC in 3’ increments, these are perfect if you can bear it, but kinda rough on rhomboids etc. I use a lacrosse ball for upper back instead, but PVC works fine for hips and thighs.

If there’s a Relax the Back store near you, they usually have higher quality ones that you’d normally get online. Fitness equipment stores should have them, too.

I also second the PVC suggestion threewhitelights made.

Thanks guys. Once the snow dies down I’ll go out and try a few places.
