I do tend to lean towards the strongman type more then power lifting stuff however no meets for this girl-- did those years ago and had fun at the time but they don’t float my boat anymore.
However, its fun to train that way for sure. I LOVE carries. They too have changed my body for the good, and are fairly idiot proof.

I also am started to space out the pull ups, adding five a day vs having a big pull up day once a week. The idea being that towards the end of my my usual pull up party I get sloppy,. so maybe less reps of nice ones are probably better then more reps of sloppy. We’ll see.

Thanks HKD! I do feel things have been going well! I took a picture of my back a few months ago when I noticed traps appearing. Its going to be a long haul to get growth “look” on my back since its fairly undeveloped "look"wise. For sure I can palpate the changes more then see them on my chest and arms, but no before pictures of the front.

I think it is usually difficult to see the improvement. I think the triceps are looking more muscular in the second photo. The traps are looking strong. I think your dedication and being consistent is paying off. You have inspired me to start tracking my pull ups and push ups. Seems like a good way to track progress.

What I should have said was I think it is unusual to see the changes yourself. However, when some one else sees you the changes are much more evident to them. Also as has already been said you look great.
Back looks strong in both pictures. Your arms are definitely fuller in the “now” photo. 420 is a lot of push ups. Nice work!

I really appreciate it! I for sure am a person who responds well to compliments (!) as well as daily tasks–I like checking off things as a daily to-do, makes me feel accomplished in my fairly uneventful days.
I know it’ll get to a point where ti’ll be too much but for now those push ups are working out very well. And surprisingly making me more interested in upper body work…I nearly did some rows today.

Me N Mossi are usually out on our long walk on the weekends pretty early for the most part other then that you probably can see my car buzzing around Wheat Ridge during daylight hours! I’ll just say that if you saw my car, you’d know it was me ![]()
Last day at the 2nd job was Thursday, and I am already starting to feel a change in my attitude!! It was uneventful and on very good terms in case I need to go back but WHOOOOOOOHOOOO!!! :D!!! OH MY GODDDD!!!
AH HA HA!!! Now I have three day weekends every week! At my day job and only employer now I work 4 ten hour shifts so I have tons of time that I’ve never really been able to appreciate. Most ER places do that since it can be hard on staff doing the job they do, its to help prevent burn out,.That starts next week when I get a true three day weekend! I am so excited!!! AHH HA HA HAAAAAAAAAA!!! :D!!!
I have no plans so far to fill it except going to see my parents and sister more often. Family is quite important and I’m really lucky to have a very supportive and good relationship with mine-- and Mossimo adores my mom big time.
