Found and acquired through my super car source a new used car but can’t buy if officially yet. Another week before my insurance will settle things.

Limits my carries a bit however…I felt sorry for myself and got a lil gift of a rogue sand bag to have at my house for indoor apartment “stone” work.

Thanks Chicken! Its here! And um…I have to think of a way to use it how I want to ( to mock stone loads ) in my apartment to not poke the super grumpy neighbor lady down stairs. There will be a few weeks of working on that and making a big pad!

Thanks Koestrizer! I appreciate it!! I competed in a few PL meets and one strong man one a long time ago and it just wasn’t for me. As for strength goals, I’ve figured I can do SO MANY with a strongman focus since there are about a million different events!

Yay! I know you will figure out something! Where’s a will, there’s a way! You could always make your significant other lay on the floor and tell him to catch it if you drop it. He can handle it!

Will the insurance company replace your lifting stuff that was in your car? I hope so.

Chicken! I’m not sure what my insurance will end up offering me…:{ It’d be nice if they gave me something for my stolen gear but I am not holding my breath. I’m braced for this continuing to be a major pain in my ass and $$$ I do not want to spend.

As for the sandbag and figuring out a setup might be a bit harder because I’ve noticed fairly often stuff just feels far heavier when its in my house vs a gym. I might end up dumping some sand out and getting a lighter load. It can hold up to 150# though!

Its been VERY cold and I did not want to walk to the gym before work (or after!) in snow and zero degree temps. Today I did finally because its zero degrees but not actively snowing! And I needed to lift!

Hopefully the last time I’ll have to walk to the gym. My car situation is getting sorted. Its gone but I have a replacement car thanks to m Turbo Twin Sister that’s almost ready and my insurance is being super cool with the settlement.

Some PR’s maybe for the oh log which is nice! I used a belt I had in my closet that its probably a teenage boy’s. It barely fits but it definitely helps for those presses. I have some vids.

More car drama :frowning: They found I–MY missing car-t a few hours after I sent in my settlement papers to my insurance :frowning: Now I am unsure where I stand with everything, and also unable to do anything. I have no idea if its drivable because for one it was beyond empty on gas and also all of my keys where in the mail headed to my insurance company. Whatever.

Its also all wheel drive and had to be towed, I am not sure if they actually used a flat bed like it needs or they just towed it. If that’s the case they could have ruined the suspension…ugh god. Such a complete pain in the ass. Totally exhausting. Didn’t help that the tow yard had 2 locations! And I didn’t know which on it was at, and each where 15 miles apart from each other…and my phone dies…and blah blah blah. PAIN IN THE ASS.

Family health stress too…family other stress too…but I have a new to me car!!! One I can drive and hopefully keep!

Massive headache today… Super stressed. But I did carries!!! I’m quite proud of my grip too, its behind but it was ok. Most of my callous’s went away during the 3 weeks of no carries. It was a needed rest in a way since I had been getting tired of the claw crampy stricture stuff my hands could feel after a big grip day.

Oh wow! I’m glad they found it, I think. Hopefully the stress will let up in a few days and you can get things settled once and for all. I know this has been a nightmare.

Good luck on the car stuff. That strong man gym looks great. That red thing looks like a car deadlift frame but I’ve never seen one like that.

The car stuff is a continuing hassle but I’m over letting it effect my mood. I have a CAR DEADLIFT to try!!

This year has been up all in all. I had my car stolen but I won’t be wasting time on fruitless parts of my life. Too much to be thankful for.

I’m a serious girl. I don’t have time for anyone who doesn’t see this or underestimates me.

Car deadlift rig! No clue the wt empty, them plus 50# x10, plus 90# 3x10 low rom but fun! It’s almost like a belt squat for deadlifts!
Rigsgaw carry x 5 mins 170# total of 1,000 feet. First 500 were without a drop
Sand bag carry x5 mins 100# total of 1,000 feet a few re-grips but no drop
Pull ups mixed in 8, 5, 5

I am over the moon being back at the strong and gym !! I wanna do it all!!! Ha ha!! WOOOOOHOOOOOO!!!
