I must list that the PR was in my new SBD knee sleeves!!! They felt great! I like them a lot! I do think I’d be able to get that 250 with my old set up, but why? HA HA! I used my older sleeves which are big enough to go over my pants for the last few sets of 215 and the rest of the lifting day.
Who cares?!! I’ve been hunting that 250 frontie for EVER!!! And she’s mine! YES!!! I have a video! Its high but I think with more confidence I can get it lower. Also a video of a repeat pr of 225x5 which I think I can get prettier with more confidence. The 225 sets I’ve been able to get the last few weeks felt nice and strong.
Monday I did some pull ups at home- 2 sets of 8, a set of 4
Yesterday did a set of 7 pull ups. My hands are swollen…just hormonal stuff which should go away in a few days. HURRAY!!!

Proud of today! Worked an overnight last night and had low expectations. Things went pretty well. At the body builder gym–at 1pm in the afternoon- the phones and the outfits were on HIGH alert. SO MANY PEOPLE.
I’m lucky I got a squat rack. A chick next to me had the rack the whole time I was there and did maybe 3 sets of squats. Just talked, just visiting, just using her phone, putting her sleeves on to sit and then… I like to give people the benefit of the doubt… maybe she had an injury and needed a ton of time …had I had to wait for her to get a rack things would get DICEY FAST.

I got a new wt’d vest! —it can go up to 80#. HA! Yeah, not so easy. I’m going slow and low to start but the starting wt and distance a walk on the trail by the park in truth was not easy–not terrible but not easy!
My old one is 20#. I was laughing the vast majority of the walk out loud because we’re such weirdos! A luxury and a thrill for me at least to tote shit.

Today I woke up and gave it a shot because I was up at 3 awake and just chilling. Drove to the gym , got inside and quickly went home! I’m going back to bed!
This rarely happens so it means I must rest so I shall. It appears to be the new vest stuff – too much! So I will revamp and rearrange.
Its getting to be warm enough for field work with my own equiptment too so I can change up the system for carries and spread them out and sleep in a bit if possible. The vest itself can be used as a bear hug implament too! Crumpled up I can do some sweet stuff in the field in the future.

Regarding the 80 pound weighted vest i imagine it being suspended from a pull up bar by a couple of straps. Stand up inside it, untie straps.
