Asshole just isn’t a strong enough word right now Way =p GL with that work shit.

hahaha

The worst part about it is the lack of food, they feed us lunch and dinner but the portions are always extremely small. Like today’s lunch was half a chicken wrap…awesome. I bring some protein shakes, but it’s still not enough. I am probably only getting in half the calories I’m used to. Thank God for the sauce or I’d probably be shriveling up right now, but at the same time I feel like I’m wasting it :frowning: oh wells.
where the hell are you? jail?

Thought since everyone is throwing up some progress pics, I’d post a vid of a few poses. Not ready to reveal the whole body but just a few shots. The camera does me no justice, and the video camera makes things a little better. Throw me some critique. I’m going to tighten up just a tad.

Edit: BTW, I feel like I critique myself too much. From constantly looking at photos of Pro Bodybuilders, I feel I get down on myself too hard. Well, thinking about it, I’m not going to look like Ronnie overnight, it’s going to be a long yet accomplished road, I can just tell, the journey will be great.
you should check out the posing vid in T-Cell.

when you do a front double-bi try to rotate your hand/wrist as far back as you can, this helps bring out the bicep peak

Austin, I like the idea of hitting a few mandatories on video like that. I’m not going to give ya any advice you already don’t know, youve got a ton of muscle, might be fun to show a little bit more of it off when ya lean out some.

Crod, protein bars can be a really cunt in this hot weather, I had one melt in my pocket today when I was at Kings Island.

Bug text me and reminded me that with all that typing up there I failed to actually post a workout.

Incline HS - not so many sets working up to this next week
1 pps x 15/15
1 pps + 25’s x 10
2 pps x 8
2 pps + 25’s x 8
2 ppps + 35’s x 8
3 pps x 5

Decline bench
225 x 4
245 x 4
275 x fail getting it out of the rack
275 x fail getting it out of the rack, fuck out decline sucks, it is impossible to unrack decent weight.
275 x 3*

*Told the spotter I was going for 2-3, but I was good for a forth so I said, im good after the third, and started the 4th rep, and this dumb fuck just grabs the bar and brings it into the rack.

Cable fly
60 x 12
80 x 12

PJR - with neutral grip barbell, our dbs only go to 100’s.
75 lbs x 10
95 lbs x 10
115 lbs x 6

DOMS already setting in, back and biceps in the morning, then spending the day at the water park.

Anyone else notice when watching videos of pros training arms they all seem to do lots of cable pressdowns as their primary move for triceps?
Every pro that I’ve seen train triceps does them and personally I love the exercise. I will say that many of them still do close grips, and heavy skulls as well. Close grips for size, pressdowns to refine.

Dude I just went to the mirror and hit a front double bi, wrists fully rotated and my arm like magically gained an inch.

I will say I was pretty out of breath as I was posing for literally 30 minutes. Took a lot of shots that didn’t come out good and 2 videos until I kind of like this one. I’ll post something tomorrow with my wrists fully rotated, makes a huge difference.

Let’s not get cocky boys, otherwise I’ll have to join the mix, and incline your max bench. Then again guys like Ceph and Way could do the same to me so who I am to talk. ha

Bench-
bar x 10
95 x 10
135 x 5
185 x 5
205 x 5
225 x 3
250 x 6 PR

Incline DB-
75 x 10 x4

Db Row-
50 x 10
75 x 10
110 x 15

Rack Chin-
45 x 10 x3

Awesome session today. 250 x 6 is a huge PR for me on bench. I can also now wear my knee sleeves as loose elbow sleeves, which is pretty cool.

Nice PR dude, just wondering if you felt all the warm-up sets before the 250 were nescessary. Maybe if you did 2 or 3 you could get 8 oon 250. I know personally when I warm-up it looks like this 135x15, 185x8, 225x6, 340x3. Anymore than that and my top set would be effected negatively. Well maybe that’s why I had a nagging strain in my chest/shoulder, who knows lol.

Austin

Im still trying to learn how to tuck my elbows when I bench so I dont have to spend another 2 years of no overhead work and only db’s for chest, but gun to my head I could probably get 300-315 right now.

Trying to figure out why I am declining the same number as my flat bench, Cam thinks its because our decline is truly that fucked up. I doubt even your giant ass would fit into it proper, my feet hang off the end like im a freaking toddler or something, and its impossible to get the weight off the pins by yourself for your working weight.

Tried doing hack squats and I didn’t add any weight. It killed my knees

You’ll get 405. And when you do it’ll be so fucking sweet!

I’m sorry but once you break 250 lbs (which you have) you have to compete with waylander and CC…so good luck there austin. lol

So, we going to start having competitive weight classes here in the BOI ?

I kinda like that, keep track of who has the highest numbers in certain lifts for a weight range.

IMO, decline bencch is a waste of time, so many other great chest exercises. If you really feel the need to do decline, swap it out with weighted dips.

Haha thanks. I’m really looking forward to next Monday. I always come back very strong after a crappy session.

Yeah I rarly decline. Not such a fan, especially if I have no spot. Plus I’m trying to hit the inclines hard so I don’t have a droopy chest.

405 is also on my mind everytime I’m training. Can’t wait to PR tomorrow on the bench.
