600g dude? That’s excessive. 3-3.5x bw protein consumption is where you start to get into dangerously high levels of consumption. Excessive protein consumption over a long period of time (like 70%+ of total caloric intake) can actually severely impact your body’s natural GH production. I actually know a kid who had anorexia as a teen and wouldn’t eat anything with carbs or fats in it and ended up destroying his own natural GH output.

I know people don’t like to listen to stuff like this, but there is more to growing than eating a shit ton of protein every day.

Hardgnr, Xb-c, Thanks for the food advice guys. I’ll have to look around for sales and get my money’s worth. I’ll by the family pack of chop meat which is usually cheaper and I’ll use it for myself. I’ll try costco too, spend the extra money but get triple the meat for the price. It all works out.

chuckles and resembles picture posted I said sometimes and thats because I actually calc’d it out. What do you expect after 3 meals at the Trough. So far I ain’t dead and I can see that 275 is within reach. Blood work shows that lipid values could be better, liver is only stressed slightly, blood pressure could be better, and on the endocrine system aspect of it I’m the equivalent to 3 men on the highest level on the scale with E2 levels within range. My only concern is staying in one piece. C_C made it boldly clear to me in a previous post. Toodaloo

500-550 is about what I get… That’s a little under 2 grams /lb of bodyweight (I go down to 1.5g/lb whenever I’m deloading or cruising or whatever)… And it’s only 2000-2200 cals out of my total intake… Guess I’m in no danger just yet.

Doesn’t GB weigh in at 260 or something?
If his usual amount is just over 300, then I don’t think you need to worry about him much.

Besides, it’s GB we’re talking about here.

Only back move that irritates shoulder at all is wide-grip pullups. Krocs feel fine :slight_smile:

well i hurt my shoulder yesterday so here is my rehab plan:

for next day or so LOTS of ice, Ibprofen and taking it easy. Just yesterday orded some flame out and circumin which i will use a lot of.

as far as the next week in the gym, its going to be a be a week off of training, ill still go to the gym, but just to do some stretching/rehab stuff (diesel crew shoulder rehab is good stuff!)

After my week off i think i will do everything in the gym as normal, except i will leave out all pressing excersices. The week after that, assuming all pain has subsided and things are feeling pretty good, i will add in some kind of floor press movement, perhaps nuetral dumbells, or perhaps straight up barbell. whatever feels right at the time. Of course over these next few weeks there will also be a focuss on scapular retraction movements. However, i usually do that in a higher ratio to protraction movments anyways, i think my shoulder probably just needs some time to heal and if i had planned to take this week off rather then next week i wouldnt be sitting on my bed bummed about life. oh well, this is the 3rd time i’ve hurt this shoulder, and everytime i get a little better at healing it. but hopefully this will be the last.

About the protein consumption…more is better IMO.

I have 9 meals on workout days and I get total 400g protein in just four meals…that doesn’t even count my pre/peri/post workout stuff.

I would say I’m getting 3g/lb and I’ve never grown faster, just my opinion.

Well thanks stronghold douche bag. 160-200lbs! Naw I’m at 252 right now and I’m struggling to stay there with all my might! Next week I’m going to jump back on my pretty pony and really start breaking this thing loose again.
