oh snap!
Nah he’s like 260, remember he’s 6’2 also.
About the protein consumption…more is better IMO.
I have 9 meals on workout days and I get total 400g protein in just four meals…that doesn’t even count my pre/peri/post workout stuff.
I would say I’m getting 3g/lb and I’ve never grown faster, just my opinion.
Well thanks stronghold douche bag. 160-200lbs! Naw I’m at 252 right now and I’m struggling to stay there with all my might! Next week I’m going to jump back on my pretty pony and really start breaking this thing loose again.
Well, look at the bright side. I almost guessed your weight correctly, and your height (“super-tall” is pretty close to 6’2, right? ;D)

You’re not far off 300 lbs now, are you?
I don’t think you’re getting 800-900 grams per day. You’re overestimating your eating prowess here, my friend
600 perhaps (which would be practically “normal”) or maybe even 650, but more than that?
Post your diet lol
Can’t have you eating more protein than I do ;D

I sincerely hope he was kidding. Thanks C_C and I am “super-tall” a.k.a “fucked” at 6’2.

Gotcha, I stand corrected then, haha.
I’ve gone super high (like over 2x bw) before in the past, it usually ends with me feeling like shit, gaining fat, and not getting much stronger. Even with varying levels of carbs and fats in my diet, I just don’t do well with super high protein intake. I tend to stay around 1.5x lbm and get the rest of my calories from things I enjoy eating more than chicken or ground beef.

Way - did u notice any big differences when adding leucine to meals throughout the day?
Yah definitely. I don’t think the bedtime one is necessary but I just do it anyways.
I just notice I recover better and I really think having it pre/post/peri training is very beneficial to adding muscle and staving off catabolism while training.

I can see how someone with a slow metabolism may do badly on 2 grams/lb as his overall cal intake is lower…
But I also believe that protein take/utilization depends a lot on training style…

I’ve gone as high as 3g/lb while running some Clen and kept my carbs at no more than 70g and managed to put on some size. So I guess it works quite the opposite for me. Geez man do I look that puny? DAMN BEING TALL…DAMN IT ALL TO HELLL!!!

I do have a somewhat slower metabolism.
The times when I have experimented with higher protein intakes, I was training DC (or as close as I was able to follow the program with my knee injury).
Of course, an assisted lifter is going to be able to utilize a greater amount of protein than a natural lifter…which might explain why Way here can handle 3x bw and I do better with half that amount.
Fuck CC, making me go to freetranslation.com and shit to find out it won’t translate what you said. I’m gussing that’s happy birthday or something so Danke!
GB bro, not the only tall son of a bitch around, I’m 6’2" and Way is around there too. I look at it this way, a tall guy filled out > a short dude filled out, although it takes more time.
Did Back today with Crod, cut the volume a bit and he added some volume cause we lift on two different extremes lol. Good session though. I also did deadlifts last for the first time ever and it worked out well.

for the record I’m only on day 5 of my cycle, I’ve been doing my protein intake like this for about 6-8 months.
I do agree though, it will trigger an even greater growth response now.
Fuckin Awesome! Now there’s 4 of us now in the 6’0 and over club. I think Gerdy is pushing 6’0 too. The big man when on will beat the small man is my thinking. The only problem is getting the fucking mass to do it lol
Disturbed’s Indestructible…2 grams…Rockstar blue…1.5mL Listerine…We declared war on biceps. I rammed the truck into a compact parking spot, flipped off the Guido haired bitch signing new contracts, and we geared up to what we said was going to be light biceps. We ended up breaking a few personal bests

My arms were so pumped and the Listerine made this painful. After this madness we knuckled up and left the gym to assault some sushi. My arm crapped up holding the steering wheel. I couldn’t reach for my wallet, hold my plate full of sushi, etc. It was a blast. Its nice to have a training partner with a similar deadline and as insanely driven as you are.
I like being a nice 5’10" just about average height. Short girls still think I’m tall and I look fairly large at only 206…and I like short girls so it works perfecty for me! Lol
Did circuits today; front squats, RDLs, upright rows, and push presses (135 lbs for the 1st 2, 95 lbs for the 2nd 2 exercises); did 4 rounds. 1st round was 10 reps per set, 2nd round 11, 3rd 12, 4th 13 reps, with 2 minutes between rounds. It was awesome. Super-setted chinups with dips, 10 reps of each, 3 sets…then one set of super slow chinups, 5 reps. Few sets of seated calves, and called it a day. An exhausting day.
On another note, I FINALLY hit a 405 lb squat a few days ago, then hit 315x12…so that shit’s coming along well. Only reason I’m doing circuits is because it helps me improve at running, without actually running. I’m such a lazy bastard.
