That’s awful nice of you to say, thanks man.

That’s fantastic dude. You’d appreciate some Camus and Sartre.

You and I have different ideas about what slow means, I think. Nice work man!

A few little curveballs thrown my way this past weekend. The “plan” will be changing/pushed back. I was hoping to get started on a conjugate program and really dig in starting to familiarize myself with the method, but haven’t had the opportunity to plan anything out. For the sake of paralysis by analysis, I’m going to hold off on it until late August. When I’m able, I will be hitting some GMM days sporadically when I’m home and time allows. They’re quick, difficult, and allow for some high intensity wor, and get back to the drawing board later this month.

It turns out I’m going to be going to Colorado next Wednesday for 5 days, come home and work for three days, and then drive down to North Carolina for a week. Im planning on bringing my kb and bands to North Carolina, but will be leaving them at home while I’m in Colorado.

This is all in the midst of remodeling a large laundry/bathroom in my house and trying to get plans together for the plumbing work, and work being a little crazy.

The diet break has been going well. It’s nice to not have to constantly think about when I’m going to eat. I weighed 209.5 yesterday, so again, down some weight without too much of a change. I’m hoping to hit squats today after work.

Chaos is the plan! Good job leaning into it. Depending on where you are in CO, you can get in some solid elevation training. If you want to brainstorm some crazy bodyweight workouts, let me know. I like WodWell also.

I would love some ideas!

Colorado may be difficult to pull off, but I am planning on some hikes. We’re staying in Boulder and Salida. North Carolina should bode quite a bit better as far as free time is concerned though, and I’ll have some equipment with me as well.

I’ll have to dig back through your book of bad ideas, hotel room workouts

Legs were totally fucking shot going into this. All the stair/ladder climbing and walking with tools all day has been absolutely destroying me. 370 moved quick but I’m in need of some more heavy 10+ rep work to make those + sets something to be proud of. On the other hand, I may have 1-2 lower body days left before I switch things up… so as long as I push hard, I’m fine with it.

Strong, dude! You’re gonna hit 4 wheels on your squat before I even get my deadlift that high.

Nice work.

Thanks dude! I think that 370 rep was the strongest a squat has felt in quite some time. I def had a bit left in me, I think.

It’s already in the bag! I’d definitely like to make it a regular thing, though.

Hah! Somehow I forgot all about that…

Well, at least I was right. (Haha!)

101 burpees in 9:57

Walking around my lifting room like a toddler and/or drunk person. Sweaty, stinky and swaying like an MFer. Burpees stay until feasting starts again.

The thread in BSL inspired this. It should be a good way to change stuff up just enough to get a response in a calorie deficit.

Also, my wife and I made some home made pasta and ravioli tonight. I had the one with red sauce and 3 ravioli. It was awesome and a lot of fun to cook together. We were jamming some Italian classics on the Bluetooth speaker too.

Came into this way too confident in my incline pressing ability. 235 moved fast, still plenty left buried in there somewhere. I think I could hit 255 fresh right now. Who would’ve thought that training hard and eating would lead to PRs.

are these cat in a bath burpees as @ChongLordUno would say, or are they good ones ?

I have no idea what this means, haha. I’m definitely not flailing around like a madman though… my weak ass 6.2395" circumference wrists won’t allow for it!

It refers to those flop on the floor then jump up crossfit burpees, vs a 6 count or 1 pump controlled movement.

Gotcha, I did them slow and controlled. My wrists are totally shot due to the work I do/have done in the past/breaking both at different points in life. No flopping for me or I could have a real bad time.

101 in 10 mins is a great time for someone who doesnt do these often. That sort of effort would have me blowing out of my ar$e
