Yeah dude it’s been pretty awesome so far. It’s quick and very easy to push extremely hard, it’s all up to how badly you want to beat your previous time. I think the time improvements will start to taper off within the next few days though.
Haha, thankfully my elbows have been pretty good for a while now. I get some pain/discomfort every once and a while if I’m severely under recovered or if I have been partying too much. All the more reason to stay on top of diet and to behave, haha.
One week down, three to go. My time has improved substantially, but that’s likely just due to getting used to the movement and embracing the suck. I’ve gone from 45 minutes down to 26:37 within a week. I think it’d be awesome to get a sub-20 minute time by the end.
I’ll probably take a few pics at the end of this week to use for a comparison to the ones I took in February. My traps and forearms feel like they’ve grown and I’m feeling a bit leaner in the gut area, too. Diet has been spot on. Feeling good.
Grip was the limiting factor without a doubt. My hands are shaking like crazy and my forearms are painfully pumped, nice. It was warm-ish today and I’ve been sweating like a pig. My body isn’t used to 60 degrees and sunny.
Ha, I sent my work team a message that I was going to take a walk because it was so nice out, 58 degrees but sunny! It was amazing, supposed to be nice this afternoon too.
@mr.v3lv3t@heretolog haha it’s crazy how right out of winter everyone is in shorts and t shirts but if this were September everyone would be breaking out the hoodies and coats
Couldn’t keep up with the timer today. Those goblet squats were pretty horrible and my grip just can’t keep up. Getting closer to 50 each round. I’m giving my lungs a serious “what-for” but I feel like I’d be able to push like a madman if my grip wasn’t so sketchy.
Yes! I finally got it. It was not easy though… my left hand just gives up but I’m not ready to stop, so I let my right hand take over.
I’m thinking by the end of next week I’ll be right around 20 mins, anything beyond that will be a bonus. I didn’t think I’d be scratching at the door of 20 mins after two weeks when I first started this.
And yeah I agree the sweat pic is fucking gross, haha. I look like I’ve jumped in a pool after I’m done with the swings… Half the time my eyes are closed while I’m swinging because I’m sweating so profusely down my face. It certainly sucks.
This was horrible. I got home from work and immediately passed out on the couch for an hour, woke up, and within ten minutes was swinging. I knew that if I didn’t just go for it, it wouldn’t get done.
Working tomorrow AM, so I may hit swing before or directly after.
2 hours of sanding drywall this morning, 2 mile walk with the dog, then…

Belt is loose, knee sleeves are loose. I was almost leaving the ground on those squats. I feel powerful as fuck right now. That was only 12 minute of work but I’m sweating my ass off.
Hey nice work!! Likely finding it harder on certain days depending on the accessory plus your adding reps of dips. That right there is going to take longer.
Could’ve done better. Had a few unplanned stoppages mid swinging, but still beat my last time with 5 goblet squats.
@jwlake06 it’s nice to see you posting dude! You’re right, I should really be using the swing only day as the true metric, but I think it’d be pretty awesome to get all 3 days down to sub 20 mins.
