I was wondering if anybody had a link to some of the best paused raw benches performed in competitions? I have seen Mendy’s 715 which is the all time raw record. It is a staggering amount of weight and super impressive but it is essentially a touch and go. I don’t blame the lifter for this but IMO the judges should be more strict with the heaviest weight, not less.
I have read about Henderson’s 711 done in the IPF which is known for being strict but I have never seen a video of him lifting more than 600. The Hardcore federation has an all time record of 635 I believe and they are usually pretty strict with the standards, so what I am really looking for is videos of 640+ lb benches that are raw and fully paused. I am wondering what the biggest one we can find is? Any links would be appreciated, thanks for your time.
I went back through all ten pages of threads and couldn’t find it, but there was a raw bench of 670 or so posted on here a ways back, and the pause was pretty legit. Maybe someone remembers the guys name.

Al Davis was born to bench the number of guys out there now who have the legitimate potential to bench 700 raw is awesome the next few years should see the raw record broken. I feel like it’s either going to be Al Davis or Laszlo next, both of them just bench in such a freakish brute force manner and are thicker than nonsense.

Laszlo has done 300kg a few times in competition as well and his pauses are always legit. I believe this is 300kg @275 for him he looks less like a house than his other videos but it isn’t IPF.
