You can’t say it’s not allowed, because there is no rulebook, haha. It hasn’t been allowed, and that is common, but nothing stops it from happening outside of convention and sanctions.

Interest in strongman intensifies
Powerlifters tend to have a rough initial transition because they’re SO used to there being a rulebook and you have to know it and follow it and you can lose for not following the rules, etc etc, and that’s completely counter to how strongman operates. Rules are decided by the promoter, and are often changed the day OF the show, even at the highest level (ala WSM/The Arnold). You just have to be ready to be strong at anything, because suddenly that car deadlift you were training for just became a no-strap axle, or your stone series became stone over bar, or they changed the order of events and now your press medley is after a truck pull, so your legs are totally shot and you have no gas for push pressing.

I’m confused. You’re stronger on Incline than bench even when fatigued?
There is only about a 10kg difference, however the bench was worked out as a percentage, and the incline press was on a whim to my standing press, because it was a lower set as opposed to my monday workout, where I had to do 10 sets, instead of 3

Couple of quick notes,
Still doing deep water, carbs are non existant,
FINALLY finished the contract with the new work and I start the new job in 2 weeks, so had to give my notice to my current employers last week
Was hard, I truely love where I work but especially this year I need to make hay whilst the sun shines.
In laws have kindly allowed myself and the partner (inc 2 dogs) to move back in with them for the next 10 months for savings for the wedding and house deposit
Almost tripling my wage, lowering our spending costs $800< and the partner hopefully getting a new job, this year will hopefully get us very far ahead.

Strength has increased a small amount, no new totals but previous weights that I had now feel much easier
The descent in weight has begun, down to 138 pretty quickly, judging by previous experience ill be down around the 128/132 soon
Back on the strict meal prep which helps a lot
Im pretty much just living between offtopic and BSL at the moment but im still keeping up with everyones logs
